Nilfisk Excellent 170 Bar Pressure Washer - High Performance Power Washer for Patios and Car Cleaner (2300 W)

After buying other brands of pressure washer in the past i thought I would try Nilfisk, wow what a fantastic machine. The machine is a little on large side and a little heavy to lift so please bear that in mind when ordering. The machine has wheels and every easy to move about due to the large extendable handle. I first tested it on my patio and it removed the dirt that my previous jet wash couldn't remove. The included lance is very easy to use and the nozzle has 3 spray pattens for various cleaning tasks. Included in the box is snow foam cannon that is great and works brilliantly when cleaning the car. Overall the Nilfisk E170 is great value for money and is really nice quality. The great thing is if you register the machine with Nilfisk you gain a 10 year warranty! A win win.

This is a proper pressure washer, not a toy. This is the second Nilfisk pressure washer in 15 years, I did try a different make from Amazon marketplace and I thoughts it would be a good one and I soon sent it back. When unpacking I could feel the quality in the weight, I tested it and immediately it was obvious that this one was not a cheap run of the mill pressure washer, the pressure was brilliant and I did what it said on the tin. I had my last Nilfisk for over 14 years and I hope this one will be as good as the last one and with the online warranty, I got an extra 8 years in total 10 years warranty. I would definitely recommend a Nilfisk pressure washer.

Five year 'warranty' not worth the paper it was written on. My lance has started leaking internally after just over two years, after very little use only washing the car probably about 10 times in that timeframe. It clearly isn't an issue that should be caused through wear and tear, so I went through the process of claiming via Nilfisk's website, only to be told the following: "From the information provided, we can see that the machine was purchased over 2 years ago. Please note that the warranty for accessories, such as the lance, is 6 months only. As the warranty period has expired, we kindly recommend purchasing a new G4R Lance (128501701) from your local Nilfisk dealer, as this item is not available on our website." No offer of any sort of discount should the lance become available on site and clearly a waster of £350 if I have to replace a £60 lance every two years (I'd imagine even more often should I have the audacity to use it more). I'd strongly warn against buying one - while the main unit feels of good quality (with little use), the rest of it is obviously built to a price and there's therefore a reason Nilfisk only offer a SIX MONTH warranty on everything bar the main unit. Buy a yellow brand who offer five years on the main unit AND accessories.

Powerful washer that shifts moss from tarmac. 3 settings on lance, 1 rough and 2 gentle but these will shift most things. There is a gentle one for cars etc. which is a separate nozzle.

Great product and customer support. This is the 2nd Nilfisk washer I have bought over the years….after my experience with the first one I had it was a no-brainer to replace the much used/loved previous machine with this one. However, after only a handful of uses…for cleaning the patio but also, mainly, the car…I had a problem. The foam blaster unit became trapped in the handle. I guess something either snapped inside or somehow got damaged. They became forever locked together - making the whole thing useless. I emailed Nilfisk customer support. I had only had the machine a few months so it was still under warranty. Within a fortnight I had received a brand new handle and a brand new foam blaster unit. So…it’s back to business….

Amazing. opted for this model over the slightly smaller 160 and I'm so glad I did. This will last years and years. The motor is different from the one in the 160, quieter and obviously more powerful. It's made cleaning the cars super easy. I also cleaned my decking in no time at all. My last pressure washer was a cheapish black and decker 1500w and it took me ages to clean the decking going up and down a tiny bit at a time. I think the time I've already saved has covered the extra costs. And obviously don't bother with the yellow brand, they're made from cheese but come with a fancy advert.

This washer is built to last and heavy to transport around but it has no lack of power and brilliant for cleaning floors and using to wash the car. The additional snow foam bottle clips on easily and works a dream when adjusted. Im very happy with this purchase as feels a lot more build quality than other cheaper brands. The hose winder is excellent also and the reinforced hose is quality. Only negative is the on / off switch feels somewhat fragile but time will tell.

Well, having bought 2 Karchers in the past that didn’t last, thought it was about time to try something more robust, wind in hose when finished, all equipment stored neatly on unit, collapsing handle, neat little package when storing away. Powerfull water jet with different settings to suit all situations including snow foam adapter for washing the car, what a machine!!
