Bought this as a new bed for my teenage son & it’s great. Arrived perfectly packaged & with no fixings missing. I had read previous reviews & they were spot on. All the fixings are located zipped into the headboard so once removed made it lighter to carry upstairs. My husband & I made it together as it’s easier with 2 people being able to hold it together to put the fixings in. It took around 1.5 hours & was very straightforward & In hindsight I think my son & I could have made it on our own as not particularly heavy. Once together it’s very sturdy & great colour although not quite as dark as it looks in the photos. Masses of storage, the Velcro sheet you add to the bottom doesn’t really fit but we weren’t bothered about that & lifting mechanism works fine once the mattress is on. Follow the instructions & you can’t go wrong. Great product for a good price, my son is very pleased.

I was looking for an ottoman bed and this fits the bill brilliantly. It is self assembly and I put it together myself without too much of a problem (I did put the cross brace in the wrong way round but easily remedied)! Bed looks great, is sturdy and doesn't creak it's a perfect base for my memory foam mattress and is comfortable. A couple of people remarked on it being difficult to lift, but if you put the mattress on the bed before you lift or close it works fine, it also gets easier to lift the more you use it. Value for money is good. I spoke to the seller a couple of times and they were helpful and very prompt, so I would not hesitate to buy again if I needed another bed.

This bed looks attractive and has excellent storage space. The storage lever is easy to work. It is easy to assemble and the instructions are clear, but requires two people for some parts. The quality is good and it is sturdy with standard wooden slats that fit into plastic slots - you get what you pay for. Overall, really happy with the bed for the price.

With two people this was straightforward and quick to assemble. The instructions aren’t great, at one point we had to undo part of the mattress frame as we didn’t know it had to go in a specific way (the two central holes need to face inwards) but this was easy to do. It was very stiff at first, we didn’t know if it would go down at all. With the mattress it stays down and looks really good. The only negative point is the Velcro keeping the fabric base liner in place. It’s really flimsy and seems a bit pointless to me, especially as the fabric and the Velcro on the base don’t always line up properly. All in all this is an excellent bed, just don’t expect much from the fabric base.

Easy enough to put together, but you definitely need two people to do so. Delivery came on the requested date, which was very helpful as we were moving into a new place. Bed is perfect, feels very sturdy and have had no issues after sleeping in for over a month now. Love the colour and style of the bed too. The way the hydrolics work, you have the entirety of under the bed as available storage. As mentioned by other, bed won't go down unless there is a mattress on it. Was a but stuff the first few times, but comes up and down with ease now. I got the 4ft by 6ft bed, which fits a standard double mattress on top (bought from Ikea and is a perfect fit).

Far exceeded my expectations. The build quality is excellent, all screw holes easily inserted, very simple to put together with easy to understand instructions. It recommends two adults to assemble but I did it on my own easily (mid-forties female). As I was assembling it I kept thinking, “Wow, I can’t believe how good this bed is, at such a great price!” As others have pointed out, the hydraulics work when the mattress is in place, otherwise you’ll think the bed is permanently elevated! It does explain this in the instructions. Altogether a very good buy, I’m so pleased with it. Delivery was perfect, I had received notification that it would come on a certain date, which wasn’t convenient for me. One email and it was sorted for a better date, arrived exactly when stated. There is simply no point in deducting a star in the rating. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

Can not fault this company. They have been great every step of the way. It was delivered quickly, we had an issue, no fault of the sellers and they was quick to respond and offer a solution for us. Would definitely buy again. The frame fits our 3/4 bed perfectly and provides the storage we need. Will not hesitate to buy again and hope we can when our second son is ready for a bed frame. This bed is a very nice bed and looks lovely. Very sturdy and lots of storage space. It is quite difficult to lift and lower the bed the first few times but slackens off and is easily managable. I would of ordered a second bed for my son but I had issues with the delivery company XDP. They only delivered half of the bed and I and the seller spent almost another week trying the get the rest delivered (suspect this is lost somewhere in XPD's warehouse) After 6 days we had the full bed as the seller sent out a second consignment. Horrendous delivery company! Hope the seller changes delivery companies soon
