This watch is everything I expected it to be. It arrived quickly, and after wanting one for quite some time, I was excited to finally add it to my collection.I chose the CIGA Design Blue Planet First Edition Titanium because it is the award-winning model. The unboxing experience was excellent, with the watch presented in a unique booklet-style box that feels both premium and well thought out.Setting the watch and learning to read the display took a little time. The smaller numbers are not as easy to read as those on the Second Edition, but after a few days it becomes completely natural.This watch is a real conversation starter. Its unique design attracts attention wherever I wear it, and people regularly ask about it. The included straps are comfortable and look great, although I have since fitted a Milanese mesh strap, which complements the titanium case perfectly.The crystal can produce some glare in bright light, and unlike the Second Edition, there is no lume for low-light visibility. However, this watch is more about artistry than practicality. It is a wearable piece of art and a true statement piece.If you are looking for something unique that stands out from the crowd, I highly recommend the CIGA Design Blue Planet First Edition. I am so pleased with it that I will likely be purchasing the Moonwalker version next.

The packaging on this watch is exquisite but then again for the price you would expect something a bit special. The inner and outer dials are a nice design technique although they took me a little while to get the hang of. I like the Blue Planet theme and the story behind the photo reproduced on the face is charming and brings a lot to the feel of the watch. The whole mechanism is wonderful. The strap is interesting - silicone and almost reminds me of a Swatch strap. As a vegan I don’t wear leather so having this type of strap suits me fine and I think the minimalist design to the strap helps keep the focus on the fantastic face and mechanism. A very expensive but special watch that is a work of art!

I really like the design its different. And at this price I don't think there's anything this nice out there. But...Major issue. I took this watch but the guilded version because it needed a service its got the same movement as this one. All 5 watchmakers I took it to refused to service it. One issue was it didn't have a genuine ETA movement but a seagull clone which they can't get parts for. Other issue was that in order to get the movement out the glasses would need to be removed. So no one wanted to touch it. I hope the blue planet 3 has a large enough case back so that you can actually get the movement out from the back.

The engineering on this watch is impressive as is the cosmetic appearance, however, it is not a watch that you can glance at to establish the time. It takes some time to actually read the time as the markings are extremely small and do not standout.The strap is extremely supple and comfortable on the wrist.

This watch has been lauded with awards and is seen as an innovative watch technology leader. It is also costly, although prices vary considerably on different websites and retailers. It is possibly produced for collectors rather than everyday use. The watch's pluses are many. It is clearly high-quality built and has a case made out of Titanium which resembles stainless steel at first glance, as both have a silver-grey sheen. The design is sold as its major selling point, and the face is a world map which looks fine, although not mindblowing. The blue planet theme links the watch to some pretty big themes. As the manufacturer boldly states, "recent global environmental events and pandemics force human beings to reflect upon how we should live in harmony with our only home".The idea, of course, that a watch achieves this objective is load of tripe and its basically a marketing tool to sell to the eco-conscious. The strap seems a little too plastic for such a watch, but it is comfortable and functional.The watch fall downs, however, on time telling. CIGA boast about the innovation of the navigation marker on the dial as the only pointer linking to a static hour deal on the outside of the watch and a moving minute dial to show the time. Frankly, it is frustrating to the point of actual irritation. You need 20/20 vision to see the markings (of which there are too many) and constantly double checking the time. To be fair, their watch is a real attempt to do something different and much work has gone into it. The watch is a talking point when you put it on your wrist, and you may grow to love it. However, as previously stated, this is probably a watch for collectors rather than one to be worn on a daily basis.

Reloj curioso y también caro. Digo caro porque el precio no me importaría si fuese de lectura fácil. Y sobre todo por la noche. Creo que tendría que tener las indicaciones luminiscentes. Es más reloj de coleccionista que de utilidad. Pero si te gustan los relojes es muy curioso.

Montre achetée il y a quelques jours de par la notoriété de la montre: première fois qu'une marque chinoise remporte un prix au GPHG.Le bleu du cadran m'a surpris par sa profondeur. Le mécanisme est ingénieux. La montre m'a totalement satisfait. J'aurais dû l'acheter plus tôt...
