OMG!!! This is THE BEST fireplace I have EVER purchased!!!! I had been looking for about 3 months - I wanted a simple design yet elegant and THIS is perfect!! It was soooooo easy to put together - I am a 74 year old widow and I assembled it in one hour - it is very very sturdy - the quality is top notch - it arrived beautifully packaged so there wasn't one mark on it - the holes lined up perfectly - instructions were exactly like I like, few words and more pictures - and this was simple enough that a 10 year old could understand - it does come in two deliveries - the mantel arrives and then the heating unit arrives, which I didn't know so when I reached out to customer service they IMMEDIATELY responded and assured me the heater was coming - they were wonderful. The heater, again is super easy to install and I read through the manual and turned on my fireplace and it works like a charm - and the heat it puts out is incredible - warmed up my large bedroom in less than 5 minutes on high, and about 12 minutes on low setting. If you are wanting a great fireplace that looks gorgeous, flames look real, heats up a room like it's supposed to and easy assembly, then THIS is the one you want!!! Highly recommend this purchase!! I put a piece of marble underneath just for aesthetic appeal, but you don't need it - this fireplace looks awesome on it's own!!!! I absolutely LOVE IT and I am so glad I waited and got this one!!!!!!! The price was great too, in fact, I have seen cheap looking fireplaces that cost three times more than this one - I can't say enough good things about this fireplace - other than BUY IT NOW!!!!!!! You won't regret it!!!!

I was impressed with everything about this item. It was shipped fast. Packaged carefully, each item was wrapped in a soft material besides the regular Styrofoam blocks. No chips or scratches. Assembly was a breeze. It looks very nice in my bedroom and adds some coziness and style to the room. The fireplace itself makes a noise but it's not loud. The fire looks very realistic. The only downside that it doesn't have a wood crackling sound function but this can be solved with a separate inexpensive sound device. The heat distribution is good and you can turn it off if you want the fire effect only. It comes with the remote control for your convenience. I am very happy that I found this product. I would recommend this seller and the product.

This fireplace is absolutely beautiful and really adds a cozy, elegant touch to the room. I love that it has different settings that are changed with a remote control, flames with heat or just flames, so you can set the perfect ambience. Assembly took about an hour, which wasn’t bad, though the instructions were all pictures with no words. Once I got started, it was easy enough to figure out. Overall, I’m very happy with it, the price, the soft hum, the flames and heat is adjustable, and it’s become the centerpiece of my space!

I'm a 77 year old male and put this together is less than two mornings. IOW, very easy to assemble! It came with an Allen Wrench, but I use the one in a set that I have, due to much better leverage for tightening. We live in an apartment that doesn't have a fireplace, so this is perfect.

The cabinet is a very attractive and sturdy piece of furniture. The fireplace insert, however, falls far short of expectations or the quality I have found in other electric fireplaces. The “fire” looks like a backlit paper cutout of logs, and there is absolutely no appearance of active flames even at the very highest setting. This was discovered after assembly, and disassembling and repackaging simply makes return unrealistic. We may try to find a better quality insert that will fit, or simply retire this unit to the children’s’ play room. It is not suitable for our recreation room.

This is one of the coolest purchases I've ever made from amazon. The parts are sturdy, all the holes lined up and parts fit together snugly, flames look pretty realistic for ambience, and the heater works great for warming up just the living room when I don't want to heat the whole apartment. Do the logs look like muppet Calcifer from Wish? Also yes, but it adds whimsy. He's just a little guy! 10/10, would buy again.

This arrived in two packages on two separate days. The directions for the wood surround were easy to follow. Not all of the holes lined up correctly but it went together. The biggest issue was when we went to put the mantle piece on. It did not fit. We had to do a little shaving down of the one corner in order to get it to fit. The part we had to cut is hidden. The rest went together fine. It is quiet and gives off a nice amount of heat. Not sure how it will affect the electric bill
