THINX Sport Period Underwear, 3 Regular Tampons Capacity, Feminine Care Period Panties, Moderate Absorbency

Honestly this is the best purchase I’ve made to make my period less stressful. I decided to stop using tampons and switch to the June Cup. I got Thinx to wear while I’m getting use to the cup because it can leak if put in incorrectly. The most concerning thing to me is leaking through my pants. Let’s be honest, everyone has that anxiety about their period. However I work construction and could you imagine having 100+ gross misogynistic men see you bleed through your pants?! I’d never hear the end of it. To make a long story longer this underwear saved me! I put the cup in and went to work unsure if I did it correctly. I could feel it leaking about 7 hours into work at which point I panicked and quietly snuck away to the bathroom. The cup did indeed leak but it didn’t go anywhere thanks to Thinx! These are now the ONLY under wear I’ll wear when on my period. Plus they’re comfy and still cute!

OVERVIEW: I was searching for a healthy, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective alternative to tampons and pads and found this brand a little over a year ago. This is my 5th pair. Great concept and well executed design (thread work could be a little neater). FLOW: Works best for a medium to light flow or if you have access to and the ability to use a restroom frequently, or simply want to use in addition to pads/tampons/cup. CUT/SIZING: The sport cut feels like a thick full bottom bikini with plenty of coverage. The cheeky cut, a little thinner, constantly rode up my bottom, although I appreciate the minimal coverage. I am a size small and ordered all small, except one medium to experiment. Big difference between both sizes. Runs true to size. Very little shrinkage, if any, with use of hot water and heat from the dryer. CLEANING: I pre-wash the soiled undies with hot water and soap thoroughly (during my shower) and air dry. Then launder in the washer with other clothing, and alternate between air drying and tumble dry in the dryer. I have a sensitive nose and can sometimes pick up a light metallic scent when air dried, so I rewash. I also noticed that the black fabric gently fades over use. CONCLUSION: Sounds like a lot of steps, but quickly becomes a normal routine, hence why I purchased additional pairs. So glad that I found this brand.

I was hesitant to try these bc I thought it might feel awkward for obvious reasons , but it was amazing. I wore these through my entire cycle. I just wash and dry them throughout my cycle. It didn’t have that warm/humid feeling that comes with wearing pads. I also wore these with my cup instead of regular underwear + liner ( in case of leaking ). It kept me super dry despite how heavy or light my flow was. There’s also no odor the way there is when I wear pads and have heavy flow. Even if these were regular underwear I’d still buy them bc they are the most comfortable underwear I’ve literally ever worn. Also there was NO leaking. 10/10 recommend. I’m 27 but these would have been helpful as a teen!!

I bought these because I was tired of wearing tampons and the discomfort they always brought me. I've had other brands of period panties before but they all honestly sucked. When I got these I didn't have super high expectations but I wanted to give them a chance. And oh boy! They exceeded anything I could have imagined. I'm a nurse and I usually only go through a max of 2 regular size tampons a shift, and that's with my heaviest flow. So I got the moderately absorbent pair, and for some reason the night I decided to test them out they were really put to the test! I worked 14 1/2 hours on my feet constantly, running around like crazy, AND my flow was abnormally heavy, like very heavy. But there was absolutely NO LEAKAGE!! it was perfect. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it didn't block the smell as much as it claims too but still they were really really good and I'm definitely going to look into buying more! They make crazy nights at work like this one a little less stressful not having to worry about running to the bathroom to change a tampon or leaking through one and staining clothes. Love them!

I have worn these on some long runs on day 1 or 2 (moderate to heavy flow) AND to Orange Theory, which is a sweat fest and I thought there was no way they’d be able to take the place of a tampon, but I was wrong! Worked perfectly. Although I’m 5’7, wear a 28, athletic build 155 lbs and it recommended a medium for me, wish I had a large- they fit, but are kinda snug on the hips.

Amazon recommended that I get a 1x. It seem to fit OK until I actually started working out and moving around and I kept getting a wedgy. I’m not sure if it’s the fabric or if it was slightly too big. I looked online to figure out how I could contact the company about sizing before I got more. But the Amazon order number did not work on their website, and after spending about 30 minutes, trying to figure it out, I realize I simply could not contact anyone in regards to this purchase online. There was no contact information through Amazon either. Otherwise it was very comfortable. I regret not getting them sooner. Absorbency pad is a lot thicker and longer than other underwear. Is I have gotten on Amazon or Walmart

I'll start by saying that they didn't have my size so i sized up and it looks like old granny panties but that's not the product's fault. I've used these by themselves and instead of liners when using a tampon. They seem to hold a decent amount of blood but for me it was just as uncomfortable as a pad so i rarely used it by itself. They are pretty thick and do show up underneath my scrub pants. It annoys me that underwear made for holding blood also stains really easily but i suppose that they didn't say they wouldn't. If any blood gets on the tan part it will stain. That being said, it never happened to me from reaching capacity but from the underwear getting bunched up and in a weird position

I bought this style of underwear for running long distances. I need something that will not ride up or chafe,, and will also absorb sweat and body odors. I have used them twice and so far I am very satisfied with this product. They fit as advertised, and absorb as advertised. They wash well and dry quickly. I will recommend them to my running friends.
