Solid Keyboard. Excellent Customer Service
This is a well made keyboard. Illumination is even and high quality. Key action is positive and consistent. Software is easily installed and offers many options. I noticed a fault on mine after about 7 months use. This may have been there since new since it was only visible when switching off the illumination in a dark room. The red LED under the Esc key was not switching off fully, leaving a faint orange glow. Cherry's customer service was excellent, an email confirmed this was a fault in a couple of hours and Amazon's customer service resolved it in a Chat. the replacement keyboard was with me in less than 24 hours.

Metallic spring echo sound every time you type
On first impressions, it's the perfect all around keyboard. Lighting is nice and customisable. However, there is a MASSIVE problem with this model. Type anything at normal pressure and you get this irritating echo style metallic sound every time you hit the key. The metal sound reverbs afterwards. The keys feel nice but the metal sound is too annoying to bare. So, so disappointed from Cherry. My first Cherry keyboard and feel really let down. Plus the packaging was poor and box damaged. Really sad.

Great keyboard - does what it says on the tin
Have had this for about a year and itโs still working perfectly. Good, solid, mechanical keyboard with quiet keys (well, quiet for a mechanical keyboard). Very happy with the purchase.

Clangy/twanging spring noise - very irritating
Other reviewers commented that keyboard has an annoying spring noise and I thought "how bad can it be?" - well frankly, it's terrible. It rings in your ears and it's very difficult to ignore as it's incredibly annoying. I've stopped using the keyboard as the noise is too distracting - and use an Anker Clicky keyboard that is louder but not annoying as it doesn't have this high pitched twanging spring noise - I wish I hadn't bought this keyboard and I will give it away.

Good keyboard
Great keyboard for its price range. Definitely a good choice if you want a good gaming keyboard without spending ridiculous prices. Quality seems good, even though itโs hard to tell when itโs new, but so far I like it a lot.

The worst keyboard I have ever owned in my life
faulty key switches, broke in less than 2 weeks of owning, it has a metal baseplate that rings in your ears loudly whenever you type with it, and since I cannot return it I am now stuck with this faulty keyboard, buy a keyboard with lots of reviews (at least 300+) and a high rating of 4.5+ or else you will experience this same thing.

Functional - best cheap keyboard!
Awesome keyboard. Limited in terms of customisation but would choose this any day over my previous razer keyboard!

Long key travel. Doesn't "clack". Great RGB lighting. BROKE AFTER 1 YEAR 8 DAYS
As with all products, if you want quality, go back to the source. Cherry keyboards have been around as far back as I can remember; the very first PC-XT machines in the 1980s. So having tried lots of keyboards, I thought I'd go back to Cherry to get something good. It's a fairly compact outline for a full sized keyboard, which just fits in the available space in front of my laptop. Fold-out back legs tilt the keyboard up a little too. A USB wired design, so no batteries to buy and the connection has always been reliable. The RGB effects are great. I didn't fully explore them and left the "slow breathing / cycling" colour scheme active, but I did have a look at the per-key illumination and gaming settings (it's the FN and BRK keys held down together for 5 seconds to reset the colour scheme in case you get in a mess). Key travel is long, resembling keyboards of old rather than low-profile designs. There's more of a subdued "thud" rather than a clack when pressing the keys during fast typing, so not the quietist but also not too disturbing at all. The main problem I have is that just 8 days past the 1-year warranty period, they keyboard started typing the letter "c" all by itself at random periodic intervals. When this stopped, the top 3 rows of RGB lighting died on the main keyboard. I'm not a heavy user and not a gamer, so I'd have expected more from Cherry than just a 1-year product. I expect I could get the same life expectancy from the very cheapest keyboards on Amazon. I loved it for typing at night when it was working. The RGB effects really are lovely and I got used to the long key travel, so I'd have kept this forever it it had continued to work.
