I'm writing this review after two years, I'm finally getting one for my office (I have one in my home office). Here are some insights that I'm sure others have not/will not share. 1. If you're zaftig like me with an ample bottom, this will do just fine. The cushion will hold up. It has not flattened out. 2. Really do turn the case inside-out to wash and dry. I've followed the directions, drip-dry, and the case still looks brand new, except the lettering has worn off. (but really, who cares about that) 3. I had quite an impressive yoga fall square on my butt, and my lower back was sore for weeks. Sitting on this cushion in my home office was much more comfortable (and less pain) than my office chair 4. There's no pilling since I've followed the wash directions. 5. Put it on your chair and sit on it, simple, right? Well, if you have a back cushion, they might need to get along -- tuck where the lettering is underneath the bottom of the back cushion. You're welcome. Again, zaftigs (and non) are welcome to rest their bottoms on this - it not only works, but it's durable.

The cushion works well as far as cushioning your rear end. The notch goes toward the front, by the way. The problem for me was that it raised the functional height of my chair by a couple of inches, so that the back of the chair no longer gave me any back support, and it was uncomfortable.

I have lots of lower back pain, this has helped so much! I’m very happy with this purchase! It’s comfortable, helps prevent back pain and it was even one of the expensive ones!

So far it's working great. It is firm but not too firm for me. I'm 160 lbs, I could see it being too firm for someone lighter. I have used it at home & in the car. Be aware if you use it in the car you sit up a few inches higher. You may need to ajust your mirrors. I'll really get to test it out next week when I travel by plane. The handle is nice, should be easy to carry through the airport.

I’ve been working from my desk a lot more lately, and after a few hours of coding, my lower back and hips were starting to really complain. I decided to give the TushGuard a try to see if it would take the pressure off during those long stretches of building sites. The Pros: Right out of the box, you can tell this is a high-quality product. The materials feel premium, and the non-slip bottom is excellent—it stays exactly where I put it on my office chair, which is a huge plus since I’m constantly shifting around. The memory foam definitely offers good support, and it holds its shape really well without flattening out halfway through the day. If you prefer a firmer seat that keeps your posture aligned, this is definitely built to last. The Cons: For my personal preference, though, it’s just a little too stiff. I was hoping for something with a bit more "give" and cushiony softness to sink into. While it’s great for support, I found myself needing to take a few extra breaks to stretch because it didn't quite provide that cloud-like comfort I was looking for after sitting for four or five hours straight. It’s definitely a well-made piece of kit and a great value if you’re looking for firm support to correct your posture, but if you’re like me and prefer a softer feel, you might want to keep that in mind. It might just come down to personal preference! Hope this helps!

SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT IN COMFORT! . Get's rid of that pain in the A_ _ S and numing feeling from sitting too long at my desk! Also provides a considerably more padding vs. my aged office chair. Also has the benefit of "pushing" me into the back of the chair. NOTE: the slot go towards the chair back at your tailbone is suspended above the slot.

It's good. But there is a problem while sitting on it for 2 weeks it's getting thinner. Cushion is getting smaller
