Biore Aqua Rich UV Watery Essence SPF50 Sunscreen, 50ml

I first purchased this sunscreen approx 6 years ago on holiday in Singapore and fell in love with it because I had never experienced anything as lightweight and protective in any of my Western sunscreens and my goodness I’ve tried a lot ( mid to high end) sunscreens and nothing came close. I was therefore thrilled to find it available now on Amazon and it’s even better in consistency (if that was possible because it was close to perfection all those years ago).Its also in a 70g tube now rather than 50g. It’s just like applying water to your skin. It absorbs almost instantly isn’t sticky and leaves no white cast. I’d say it leaves a natural to slightly radiant glow but nothing too wet or pearlised looking. It’s perfect to put on for a day in the sun at the beach because the protection is stellar and it’s equally good under makeup, actually it’s acts as a great makeup primer, it does not pil and you can reapply over your makeup without it causing streaks. You can smell the alcohol in it for about 5 seconds when you first apply it but that goes very quickly, other than that I’d say it has virtually no fragrance - it certainly does not have that horrid sunscreen smell. I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to be able to get this sunscreen in the UK, it blows the competition out of the water, also don’t be fooled by the version of it in a well known UK Drug/Chemist it is not the same at all, it’s not made in Japan (it’s made in Canada) and you will be very disappointed. In my view this is hands down the perfect sunscreen for the face!

Such a great sunscreen! I've always had very sensitive/reactive skin, and no sunscreen has worked for me so far - apart from this one by Bioré. It's sits smoothly on the skin and doesn't feel sticky. I've been using it for over a month and haven't had any reaction to it; it provides great protection as well. My go to sunscreen now - will definitely be re-purchasing.

I love that this sun cream feels more like a serum than a heavy cream going on, especially as a last step in my skincare routine. I really value the high spf and lightweight, hydrating formula. I've not noticed any pilling under my makeup with either water-based or silicone-based products. There is a little fragrance in the sun cream that puts me off a little. It can also feel a bit sticky after going on and for a while until it really sinks in. If you're sensitive to smell and texture, this might not be for you. I'm very pale, but I also notice a little white cast immediately after applying. I don't know if this goes away when the product is absorbed, but it's something to consider for darker skin tones. Overall, it's super wearable and highly protective. I'd definitely consider buying it again!

I like the texture of this sun cream, it didnt leave my skin feeling sticky/tacky. Seemed to 'soak-in' to the skin nicely and worked well as protection against the sun.

I’ve used this product for many years as it was my go to facial sunscreen. Lightweight, non greasy, excellent protection, wore it every day. Unfortunately they have changed the formula, my last purchase was perfumed and the colour from semi translucent to a white heavier substance. It has had an adverse effect on my eyes, the intolerance was gradual over a two week period. My eyes are sore and watering, I put it down to a cold at first and then I had actual pain in both eyes when I used eye drops to soothe. No other product in my skincare routine has changed and by a process of elimination, it can only be this product. I am genuinely devastated and now have to find a suitable replacement, such a shame. I would really appreciate some feedback from the supplier/manufacturer, and if anyone else has had the same experience.

This is an absolute dream! I use it before applying make up and it’s so lightweight and dries quickly but leaves my skin feeling incredibly hydrated with the added bonus of knowing I have spf50 protection. My skin feel so much more hydrated since using this product.

Item received does not match with description. Packaging box say SPF 50 but not the item!! The item was SPF 30. Having said that, the cream is lovely and water based so skin absorb the cream nicely. It has a gentle scent which I like.

The best sunscreen, blends really well with no white cast. It's hydrating and leaves a subtle glow but doesn't pill. I layer it with skincare then add bb cream. Beautiful!

O produto não é igual a versão japonesa apesar de ter o mesmo nome e características. Tem demasiado perfume o que irrita a pele. Não aconselho.
