Hypnotic and beautiful. Easy to install, you may need a leveler for the first two, but then they stay in place even though they can turn on the attached adhesive. It's a bit odd that they turn, but it didn't hurt. I accidentally pulled too hard slipping in a connector and the panel popped off the wall with the adhesive remaining on the wall. It held which was nice incase you want to change the grain pattern of the wood. Plan your install. I planned mine for months after a favorite cat passed, I needed some chromatherapy. It took so long because I was too chicken to install it in my office. But a spa corner/wellness area at the office for hard working professionals to relax, that's the perfect spot for this incredible light (picture below). I use a Govee Smart Plug for time/light management. I wouldn't dare use the app for this thing everyone says it's horrible. I don't really trust any apps except for Govee. The buttons are easy enough to figure out, the govee plug successfully turns it on. Last, turning on takes almost 30 seconds, and then, lovely. It almost looks like its moving to and from you.

I recently added these Nanoleaf Wood Look Hexagon Panels (an expansion pack to my starter kit) to finish up a design I’ve been working on, and I have to say—they’re an absolute game changer for my small condo and living room. Let’s start with the design: these panels are sleek, modern, and add such a warm and cozy mood to the space. The wood finish blends perfectly with my decor and makes the room feel both high-tech and organic. The fact that you can adjust the lighting scenes with the Nanoleaf app or through Apple HomeKit is just chef’s kiss. Whether I’m in work mode or just relaxing, the customization options make it easy to set the perfect vibe. One feature I especially love is the touch programming. Being able to control smart devices in my home with just a touch on one of the panels feels so futuristic. Plus, when I’m in my “creative zone” for work, these panels are like a visual anchor—I’ll just sit there, stare at them, and let the ideas flow. The only downside is the price—it’s definitely not cheap. If it were more affordable, I’d cover an entire wall with these panels without hesitation. That said, they’re worth the investment if you’re looking for something that combines function, design, and a whole lot of personality. If you’re on the fence, I’d say go for it. These panels have added so much to my space, and I can’t imagine my living room without them now. Highly recommend!

The product is awesome. The colors are vibrant and extremely clean. Im using it as a center show piece for my podcast setup and these lights sets it apart from everyone else. What's really fantastic about it is that it connects to My Engine DJ Controller and it plays themes as well as along with the music

I evaluated cheaper options, but decided to go with the band brand Nanoleaf to ensure functionality and longevity of the light panels. The new black panels are definitely an upgrade from the white ones in my opinion! They look fabulous. Installation was easy. App integration & color/program customization was simple. We have taken them down, rearranged them & reinstalled them without any issues. They're expensive, but totally worth it. Can't wait to add more!

I’d been eyeing these for a while and prime days offered a discount so I jumped on it. Love that the panels look nice when not lit, was surprised when the ‘grain’ was still visible when they were lit as well. Added bonus. No, you’re not going to mistake them for real wood but the simulation is pleasant. Set up was pretty smooth. The app worked great for set up and configuration. It’s a little tricky choosing effects as the multicolored effects are mixed in. It says it will adjust but it seems hit and miss. Love them. Thinking of getting multicolored ones for another area. Love that it works with Apple HomeKit. I did purchase a 7 starter and a 3 panel expansion. Feels a little pricey but I love how they go with my place.

There was nothing said about these requiring another product to work, and I noticed these came to me with no power adapter and therefore are useless. I have been scammed by nanoleaf twice now. You would think for around $50 these should include their own power source, but they do not. Waste of money.

Unfortunately I didn't realize when buying these that it was an "expansion" kit and not the base starter kit, so I had to buy that as well... But I have always loved the look of Nanoleafs and I am very satisfied with how they look, BUT the weird universal plug that they use is extremely loose + heavy so it is really hard to keep it powered on.

Looks fantastic at night and really sets a warm mood. But it keeps dropping Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity every few days and the Nanoleaf company support is via email only and they can’t figure out how to fix it

We tried everything it just would not connect to Apple HomeKit or Nanoleaf app. We have watched all the videos online and even reset but it did not work. We are experience with smart products and use them all over the house so it’s not like we are new.
