An Informative Read
As a safety professional, this is a thought provoking and educational read. A well designed book with lead in theory and then concrete case studies. It will change my focus in the cockpit.

Good overall; worth it; beware typos
Good book overall. I liked the organization. Some explanation specifics I thought were lacking clarity. A lot of distracting typos. Some of them change the meaning of the sentence entirely either leading reader astray or causing confusion and need for review to determine what should have been printed. One egregious one in the section on icing. Lots of cogent, to the point descriptions render it worthwhile. Good coverage of what can go wrong and how to avoid pitfalls. A few more diagrams would have been helpful, especially in the runway excursion section. Easier to follow what was going on via an illustration than sorting out the details in text. Glad I purchased it and am getting one as a gift for an upcoming pilot.
