Ekster Aluminum Cardholder Wallet for Men - Fits 12 Cards (Carbon Forged)

I’ve been using the Ekster Aluminum Cardholder Black for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier with it. The wallet is slim, lightweight, and feels premium in your hand. The quick-access mechanism works flawlessly and makes accessing my cards incredibly fast. It has helped me get rid of the bulky traditional wallet I used to carry, and the RFID protection gives me extra peace of mind. The aluminum construction feels durable and is perfect for everyday use. What really sets Ekster apart is their customer service. They are absolutely outstanding. They respond quickly, are friendly, and genuinely care about helping their customers. It’s rare to find this level of support these days, and it made me even more confident in choosing their products. If you prefer a minimalist wallet that looks great, works exactly as advertised, and is backed by exceptional customer service, I highly recommend the Ekster Aluminum Cardholder Black. Five stars!

So I’ve always had a traditional leather bifold or trifold wallet in the past and they’ve been great...however I started having more issues with my lower back and one of the things that my physical therapist said could be aggravating it was sitting on my jam packed full wallet for long periods of time during the day. Just so happens at this time I was in the market for a new wallet, so I took this opportunity to look into the “minimalist” kind. This of course meant that I’d have to downsize...which I was reluctant to do at first because how was I ever to get along without the three year old business card of the AC guy that came out that one time...or the countless others...but one by one, I went through it all and came to the conclusion that I only really “need” my credit/bank cards, drivers license, various insurance cards, and opted for a type of tracking card incase I misplace my new wallet. I know that Ekster has their own tracking card, however I already had a Tile on my key ring and therefor was already using their app on my phone so I decided to give the Tile Slim a try (as it is about the size of two credit cards put together). So after doing days of research, I decided that the Ekster Parliament would fit my needs as a wallet I could store all my essential things in and also as one that would fit nicely and compactly in my front pocket. This wallet also has RFID blocking in the compartment that holds your cards...so that was also another ‘check’ this product had on my needs list. The wallet itself seems to be made really well and the leather is nice and soft (exactly the same as I’d expect to find when looking at a traditional one). The card compartment has a nice feature at the bottom where a simple push of your finger inward while holding, will make the cards inside stair step up to where you can choose the one you are needing at that moment. I’ve seen where others have said that the feature makes all their cards come up in a stack and all I can say is that this isn’t the case with the one I have. I would imagine the amount of cards in the compartment would dictate how it would work. I myself have five and some have raised lettering and numbers and some don’t. I have found that how far the cards come up can be adjusted by how fast you click the lever in. If I push it in slowly with little force, they will come up just enough to see what I need...however if I click it with a fast press, they will stick up to how they appear in my picture above. Hopefully this mechanism will last for the long haul...at its price, it should...but only time will tell. The only other thing worth noting is that even with the few cards that I have in the wallet, the ones that are not in the holding tray, it does make the wallet not want to close. I do see that the manufacturer states that this will be the case until the leather naturally stretches and takes shape, which makes sense, however even if it doesn’t, the pros of this product outweigh the cons to me and I wouldn’t send it back because of it. For me anyway, it only stays open a slight bit while on the nightstand instead of closing flat but when I put it in my pocket, it keeps it closed all the way. I have included pictures with my Apple Watch to show size of this product and also its size compared to the Tile Slim...which I keep in the back opening. All in all, I would definitely recommend this product if you’re in the market for a minimalist wallet but are still wanting that leather feel and extra storage that you would have been accustomed to with a traditional wallet. I will update this review if I start to have any issues with the mechanism or any other issue that isn’t self inflicted. Also wanted to mention that the wallet came in a nicely packaged black box that was plastic wrapped. If you receive one in which the box isn’t wrapped in plastic, I’d be weary that it is probably a return and would seek a replacement....just my advice.

This wallet really surprised me, especially because of its slim design. You can easily fit over 10 cards, and it takes up barely any room in your pockets. The card ejection mechanism is high-quality and very reliable. The look and design also stand out; the material is highly scratch-resistant, and it has a very sleek, minimalist vibe. I definitely recommend it.

Update: Ekster customer service deserves 5 stars. Whoever is monitoring Amazon reviews at the company was quick to contact me regarding my review. I appreciate the quick response and the dedication to their work. I received a replacement of the defective wallet in less than two weeks after writing the review. I'm still happy with the product and hope it will last. Thank you again. I was happy with this purchase when it was delivered. It was slim, sleek, and it looked sturdy. It was perfect for traveling because it could fit in your front pocket and it wouldn't crowd you while traveling for 24 hours. It held enough cards to give you options for purchases and hold necessary identification. It was perfect for what I needed. That is until today when I accidentally dropped from my desk. There were no marks on the case so I thought everything was fine until I tried to press the card release button and nothing happened. The button pressed all the way in and my cards were stuck in the wallet. I finally removed my cards and a little white plastic piece fell out of the wallet. (See attached photo.) So I now have a wallet that is useless. I would have expected more from a product for the price. I am unable to receive any help because the window to return or receive help is closed.

my favorite wallet, very sturdy and quality build, gets even better as the leather breaks in and is very comfortable to carry in any pants/shorts in any pocket, perfect amount of storage and holds cards very well, too convenient and stylish not to buy. cards stay protected unlike the ridge it doesn’t smash them together, great purchase for the price compared to competitors.

Pretty good wallet, but for the price i feel like there are some flaws. First off, the description is a bit misleading. It says you can fit up to 14 cards, 5-7 in the cardholder. I was only able to fit 6 in the cardholder and then 7 in the back. Also the cardholder is pretty secure but if you shake the wallet a bit cards will start to fall out. The next thing was that it was a bit annoying that when you clicked the button the cards came out backwards compare to the additional cards on the back - easy fix, just moved them to the opposite side. Overall the build quality is good, metal with a thick rubber band holding the additional cards or cash. definately a great wallet for someone with less than 13 cards

Super sturdy, holds just enough cards and is my go to wallet now. I’ve been using it a few months and have no regrets.

I’ve been using the Ekster Pro Wallet for several months, and overall it has held up fairly well. The wallet itself feels solid and well-built, with a premium weight and construction that gives confidence in everyday use. That said, there are a few things to be aware of. The black version, in particular, shows scratches easily, so if you’re concerned about keeping it looking pristine, normal wear will definitely be noticeable over time. Additionally, the metal-on-metal sliding mechanism can sometimes produce a sound that’s a bit irritating to the ears—almost like nails on a chalkboard—especially in quiet environments. Recently, I had to initiate a warranty claim through Ekster as the internal sliding mechanism broke. I received a prompt email response confirming that their lifetime warranty is honored even for purchases made through Amazon, which was reassuring. At the time of writing this review, I’m still waiting for a representative to follow up with a phone call, and I plan to update this review once the process is complete. Overall, the wallet is solid and functional, but it’s not without its quirks. Build quality is good, expect visible wear over time, and customer service so far has been responsive—pending final resolution of the warranty claim.

For €100, poor quality!!! Do not buy this

With the move to a more cashless society this is a great way to store & hold enough cards for your everyday life. There is a strap for carrying a little bit of cash about but as soon as you get more than a few notes it does start to push open the flap. The few slots in the flap cover isn’t really suitable for cards although they do fit but it opens the door slightly. It is a great little size and works well I would recommend it although it wasn’t the cheapest it does seem to be well constructed and has performed well for the past few months that I have been using it.

This is an outstanding wallet. It performs as stated. With covid-19, I use very little cash.
