what metal is this wok made of?

As of April 28th, 2020 - it doesn't say carbon steel anymore - clearly states Material: stainless steel

I do not know, however it is not thin and flimsy!

Considering the 12" flat bottom option, what is the diameter of the flat bottom?

Flat area on bttm. is 5-1/4 inches.

What is the best and easiest way to get off the anti rust coating, Scrubing or burning or both?

I did not buy a flat bottom wok, hopefully the following helps. I am not sure what is meant by anti-rust coating other than the treatment that I and others perform after cooking to stop rust. After procuring the wok I cleaned it and then complied with instructions (stir fried some garlic). After each cooking event , i thoroughly clean the wok, using a nylon scourer (lightly) and then apply a thin coat of cooking oil. I then wipe this cooking oil over the entire inner surface of the wok using a kitchen roll to absorb excess oil. The inner surface of my wok is now partially black.
