Hi, this lantern looks bigger (in customer photos) than the advertised size. Could anyone give an approximate size of the product? Thanks

They are quite small (see advertised size) but the bulb is large and gives off a strong light.

Can I charge it even if there is no direct sunlight?

As much as possible, you can hang it in a place where there is sunlight, it will recharge faster and will last longer.

Where would be the best place for me to hang it?

Hi, it can be hung on a porch, patio, garden, lawn, anywhere you want to decorate.
