Love, love, LOVE this cup!
I've tried two other types of cups with various success, but ultimately kept looking for the cup that best suited my needs. I've finally found it! Out of the three it is by far the easiest to insert (which I didn't expect because it's quite soft for a menstrual cup). I didn't need any practice or adjustment period, as I have with the other two cups. Very easy to use and I've had no accidents whatsoever. More importantly however, it has also been the easiest cup to remove (which has been my main issue with the other cups I've owned). Appearantly, my cervix is rather high and I've had problems reaching/removing the other cups in the past, making my feel anxious about using them... But the lily cup fits me perfectly. I can reach the stem quite easily, and at the same time the stem is not too long and in the way. That would also be my advice to others: Keep your height in mind as well, when you choose a cup. The manufacturers only tell you to choose cup size depending on your age and if you have had any children or not. My theory is that height matters as well. But please keep in mind it is just a theory. But for those of you reading this review and who may have experienced problems reaching your previous cups, this works for me and I'm 1,75. Another customer left a review stating the cup "was huge" and I almost didn't buy a lily cup based on that review. I'm glad I did though - I find the cup itself is no bigger than other size 2 cups. It's longer and in a different shape, but not bigger and not huge. Only slight disadvantage: the "collar" on top makes it a bit of a hassle to clean, but it is my understanding that it is also the collar that keeps it so safe from accidents. So I can definitely live with that!

Great soft cup and super easy to get used to
I bought this after a while of using the mooncup for a while, since the mooncup was too stiff for me. The mooncup made my cramps worse and made peeing difficult (TMI I know, but I want to give a good review for those who have the same issues). I also struggled with getting the mooncup out sometimes and it’d take a bit of time to get it out and end up hurting myself. Compared to the mooncup, the lily cup looks much longer which worried me, but because of the shape it has it actually fits just fine. I had to trim a little bit of the stem (same with the mooncup) but after that I didn’t have any issues. It’s considerably softer, so I stopped having issues with cramping or going to the toilet. It also doesn’t have a thick portruding rim at the top which I think contributed to the issues I had with cramps and peeing. The top is still firm enough compared to the rest of it, so it also opens easily once you have put it on, so it doesn’t leak. Because of the shape being shorter at the front, I found that it made it miles easier to slide and break the seal when emptying it. Since the silicone is much softer too, but the base is firm it makes it really easy to pinch and grip in order to slide it off and breaking the seal. I wouldn’t say I am a very experienced menstrual cup user, but all in all I found that this one eliminated most of the issues I’ve previously had and it was very easy to get used to. I was comfortable with using it within a couple times of putting it on and taking it out. Every vagina will have different necessities in terms of menstrual cups unfortunately so it won’t work for every single person, but if the issues I had before sound familiar, this cup is 100% worth a shot, I’m super happy with it!

Great Product
Waited a bit to write this review - I like the material of this cup, very soft and easier to fold than the mooncup, the shape suits me better but it does take a bit of effort to get it to seal properly, I’ve had two leaks because of this but I guess it just takes getting used to. I do prefer using this cup and cups in general, eases cramping and can be left in longer, more comfortable than tampons and pass when in correctly and I don’t have any odour from them. Gave 3 stars for ease of use, like I said takes a bit of practice and the first time I was out when the seal failed, wasn’t pleasant and you need a clean toilet to at least try and reinsert it which I didn’t have access to so it was quiet disgusting and unsanitary to get it back in but got there in the end. Takes a bit of practice to get insertion and removal right but once you do you’ll never look back, would definitely recommend and will be using from now on, great product, just practice using and bring other sanitary items when out and about until confident using

Perfect for high cervix and sensitive bladder
I have always liked the idea of a menstrual cup and find them very convenient, however with other cups I had a few problems, they would either not pop open, or if they were hard enough to pop open they would press against my bladder and make me feel like I need to pee constantly and then not be able to pee because it was pressing against where the pee comes through, the tulip cup however is very soft so it doesn't cause the pressing and I can pee fine with it in and it pops open fine due to the 'spine' that runs down the back of the cup giving it some rigidity but only where its needed. Also I have a high cervix which meant that other cups would travel up too high and I would struggle to reach them and get them out, this cups shape makes it quite long while still being comfortable for me and means I can always reach it easily. Furthermore its got a lip at the top which stops spillage when removing and emptying which is a bonus! I don't know if its the shape or lip or spine or length but something makes this get a really good suction and I've not had any leaks at all, which I struggle with on most my other cups. This cup is perfect for me and I will definitely be purchasing another! And its very pretty for a menstrual cup 😍

Hurts more than other cups
So I've used period cups for at least 7 years now. I've tried mooncups and never had a problem. I ordered this after the hype online about them. I have heavy periods and with my other cups I've never had as painful cramps. This cup I've used for a few days now. It holds blood very well, bit tricky to insert, it felt like it was a bit too long. To remove it it really hurts and my period cramps this month have been horrific. I do believe this is down to this cup, at first I would have recommended it but after using it for a few days, I can advise others to avoid this product. This is a non return product but I can't recommend this.

Overall it works, but some claims are misleading
This is my first menstrual cup. Overall I love the benefits of menstrual cups in general such as: good for environment, no need to buy tampons/pads, can be changed less frequently than tampons/pads. For this specific cup the things I like are: its sleek design, the soft bendable material and the ergonomic shape. Now to the cons. Before buying the cup I did the cervix height test and realized I have a high cervix. Still, this cup is too long, unless it sits absolutely perfectly. I cut the tail but I still feel it touching and irritating my external genitalia more often than I would like to. So I would say it is too long even for a high cervix. Next is the claim they make on their website that it can roll "as thin as a tampon". Sorry, but this is just not true. You can see on the pic that I uploaded (and I am rolling and holding it as tight as I can) that it is still thicker than a finger, let alone tampon. Then when you insert it, you obviously have to hold it at the bottom, and the top loosens up which makes the claim of the tampon width even more remote. Another thing is its diameter when its open, which is too large for me too. When inside, it takes the shape of your body, but it just cannot open fully, which prevents it from attaching itself properly on my cervix, hence it eventually lowers down and starts irritating me with the tail. Also it makes it harder to remove it, as you have to somehow achieve the trick of squeezing it while it's inside, otherwise it's quite uncomfortable to push the cup top through. Overall, I would say if you're not used to insert smth an inch thick in your vagina on a regular basis, this would be too thick for you. Finally, for me it is leak proof, but not smear proof. All of this is disappointing since the whole purpose of buying a menstrual cup (for me, at least) is to use it for a prolonged period of time, so now I am stuck with this cup, just because of their questionable claims about tampon width and suitability for high cervix.

Great beginner cup
A great cup for a first time user. There is a steep learning curve for using it properly. It took me many attempts to insert it properly (I suggest trying this when you're not on your period so you can keep trying without too much mess). I imagine this is the same for all cups. The silicon this one is made from is very soft so doesn't always spring back to its original shape easily but a little tug and twist usually pops it back to shape. It's really easy to clean and store. The little carry bag is really handy. It really does wear for 12 hours, so much better than tampons. It's really comfortable, I don't even notice it when it's in. I wore it for several 8 hour work shifts and it was perfect. No leaks what so ever. If you're wanting to go green definitely make the switch. It'll save you so much money in the long run.

If struggling to get it open, push it up really high, wiggle down and repeat until suctions in place
I tried this cup after a cycle of using the Mooncup which I had a few issues with: the Mooncup’s rim was very hard and I found it gave me really bad cramps no matter where it sat and also I found it difficult to get out. Because of my high cervix (can’t reach it) during the night the mooncup migrated all the way up where I couldn’t reach it and coupled with the difficulty breaking the seal (you have to get your fingers above the stem AND above the harder base bit to pinch) it was really difficult to get out. Because of my high cervix I decided to try the lily cup. It took a bit of getting used to as while the mooncup would always just pop open as soon as it was inside it didn’t work the same for the lily cup. I read some reviews about pushing onto the rim once inside to open it but that didn’t work for me. Twisting also wouldn’t work. Only once I watched a YouTube video about pushing it up really high- as high as it will go, and then wriggling it down before repeating until it suctions and won’t budge did I crack it. I find it sits much higher than the mooncup. It’s now super easy to use and I can always feel/hear it pop open when I push it high enough. Truth be told, it’s given me cramps a couple of times but I think that’s when it’s suctioned around my cervix- in this case I remove and put it in slightly lower then the cramps go! It’s so much easier to remove than the mooncup, both because it’s longer but also because you reach and pinch the cup just above the stem and the suction is released rather than having to reach further up the cup to pinch. After I learned how to put it in right I had no leaks at night even on the first night which is unheard of for me with tampons! Would definitely recommend for someone with a higher cervix! Couldn’t do without now!

Consigliatissima!

Uncomfortable but do what it should
For me, it's too long, I feel constant pressure inside, and it's very difficult to remove, but quite easy to install. It is rigid and prevents leaks. I used to use a softer cup, but it was difficult to install. So for me it's a disappointment in comfort, but a satisfaction in reliability. I use it when I want to be sure that there will be no leaks - for swimming.
