Smart Light Bulbs 100W Work with Alexa/Google Home, 4PCS

**Update** The company reached out to me after my initial review. They sent replacement bulbs to me (as they have updated their technology in their bulbs). The shipping of the replacement bulbs were very quick! After I received the bulbs, I tried them again in the same light fixtures as before. One bulb connected right away and almost effortlessly in less than 5 minutes, start to finish. Super impressive! I then tried 4 more. These four, took a bit longer. I tried everything and anything I could think of. After 2 hours, restarting the app multiple times and screwing the bulbs in and out a few times, they connected! This was huge as before I never even got to this step. However, 3 of the 4 bulbs then wouldn’t fully connect as I had no color, scene or setting options. I continued to try various things and eventually they all connected as they should AND with all their settings!!! Connecting them to my Google Home was super simple and effortless. Once they all synced they have been amazing bulbs. I’d recommend these, just be patient and know it may take a bit to get them fully synced but once they are, they’re bright, colors are bright and true to color, dimmable, voice controlled through Google Home (in my case) and a great feature to have in your rooms. Also, a HUGE shout out to their customer service (Maggie) as they reached out, stood by their product, offered help and suggestions to get the bulbs to function properly, timely with responses, replaced their product with fast shipping and over all was amazing to deal with! Highly recommend their company for these traits alone as those are hard to come by in companies these days! Definitely updating my stars from 1 to 5 for everything they have done to ensure a happy customer and for the lights being as amazing as they described! I bought 8 of these. So far, I’ve tried to install 6 of them. So far only 1 works. I absolutely loathe the set up for these lights! You have to install an app (and sign up for it) then you have to pair the lights. After pairing then you can go through your Google/Alexa and set them up there. A lot of steps and useless app for a lightbulb, imo. Pairing the lights with the app is where 5/6 lightbulbs have failed. I’ve tested the internet and performed a speed evaluation and it’s using the 2.4, should be all systems go. I made sure the light was on and flashing. I worked over 90 minutes last night trying to pair 1 lightbulb and it never did pair; I put it back in the box. I’ve had one lightbulb (same house and set up) that paired within 20 minutes of beginning the process. I’m not a fan of these bulbs just from the set up process. I do not recommend these to anyone that has a life past installing lightbulbs. They are bright, from what I can tell with the one bulb. That is probably the only reason for the one star in this review bc otherwise they’re not even worth the one star.

I bought these smart bulbs because I travel often and wanted more control over my lights when I am not home. I did not want it to be obvious when the house was empty or when I was getting in late based on my lights being off. I purchased these to replace some Sengled bulbs that suddenly stopped working, and these have been great so far. They were easy to set up, work well, and feel durable. I like being able to control them through Alexa, and they give me extra peace of mind when I am away or coming home late. I also love that they can be changed to several different colours, which makes them a fun addition to the house. It is nice to be able to switch up the mood or lighting depending on the room or occasion. So far, I am very happy with them and would buy again.

The smart light bulbs were easy to set up and work great with alexa. What I liked about the light is that the brightness can be controlled. Purchased these light bulbs back in July of 2025. One bulb went out yesterday evening. The bulb will not manually light up - was not able to get it to reset. Although one bulb Went out I still gave this product 5 star’s since the bad bulb will be replaced under the 2 year warranty. Will buy again.

Light wise, my home is full "Smart" I have 100 bulbs across multiple brands. At times its been about as Smart as Ben Stiller's Oscarless Tropic Thunder Character). For the price, LightingInside's 100W bulbs are the most reliable I've found-and deserve consideration in the 100 W category. Colors are good enough to match my more expensive bulbs, and they dim like any LED. As with all smart bulbs, they absolutely do not work on dimmer switches, even if you leave the dimmer at max. Connectivity is where these can be hit‑or‑miss. Most of mine stay connected without trouble, but compared to my pricier brands, these drop off a little more often. I’ve had a couple lose connection once or twice over years, a few that do it more regularly, and one that was such a problem I threw it out. Some bulbs far from a router behave perfectly, while one ten feet away acts like it’s possessed. There’s no pattern. Setup is fine, just more involved than a normal bulb. Matter is easy to add — scan the barcode, screw it in — but if it disconnects, you’ll need that barcode again, which means unscrewing the bulb. They include paper copies, but unless you’re the type to keep a scrapbook of lightbulb QR codes, that only helps so much. The WiFi + Bluetooth combo is the saving grace, especially if your buying a brand you know has connection issues: if a bulb drops off WiFi, you can usually stand near it with your phone and reconnect it through Bluetooth without removing it from the fixture. They use the SmartLife/Tuya app, which is serviceable, but most people will end up using Alexa or Google anyway. These bulbs are compatible with either. If you’re doing a whole‑home setup, I strongly recommend Alexa+. If you don't want to pay the extra...I absouletly would not do what I did. It did not exist when I'd already gotten 75% of my home "smart." It was full blown; I spent more nights than I care to admit standing in the dark at 2 a.m. yelling at Alexa to turn on the bathroom light while she turned on something completely unrelated on another floor. Neighbors probably felt terrible for the wife/girlfriend I don't have. Alexa+ is AI, it generally works; even if you call the left end table the left lamp, she'll realize it and even add the secondary name to the app. Unless the regular version has updated, you could say, spell and scream the correct name for her and she just wouldn't turn the darn thing on. I regretted my setup when I first installed it. Quality control is mixed with this brand. This is the only brand where I’ve had duds out of the box (not all in a single box) and a few bulbs that repeatedly drop no matter what I do. Customer service won’t replace a single bulb, and with how many I have, I have no clue which box they came with, and don't care to return three good bulbs just to reinstall 4 later to replace the bad one. When one becomes a chronic problem, I toss it and move on. If you need a lot of 100W‑equivalent bulbs and don’t want to spend a fortune, these are worth considering.To be clear, most of mine have never had an unexpected drop; but they drop more frequently than some more expensive brands. I will keep buying them for canister and other 100 W lights. If you’re only buying 60-80 watt bulbs where the price is closer, or just a few bulbs to put around the house for fun, or the price isn't a great difference for you, I'd choose another bulb, I’ve had better luck with Wiz, Govee, Linkind, and Sylvania. But as I said, these are the best 100 W value bulbs I've found; so 4 stars.

I should start by saying I really like these bulbs...when they work correctly. I had one batch that lasted me about a year and then one of the bulbs started getting finicky. I moved it to multiple different lamps and it would constantly randomly go offline, even if I reset it. I decided to buy another 4 pack and they worked great...for about 35 days, then one of them started acting finicky again, going offline and not even allowing me to reset it in a completely different lamp. Edit - The seller reached out almost immediately and let me know about their 2 year warranty on the bulbs. They are sending a newer unit completely free. The seller stands behind their product, and as I said before, they're great when they work. The bulbs integrate with Alexa, so I have most of my house set on routines so my lights become night lights at night and full brightness during the day. Even my porch lights are timed so I never forget to turn them on. They're a great set-and-forget bulb, but if you ever need to change their settings, the app and Alexa make it super convenient.

Says it can be controlled with Alexa however it has to be controlled by the “smarthome” app and the app would not link to be voice controlled (the Alexa app said it couldn’t even find that app). Then after trying multiple times to pair the app, getting frustrated enough to stop, and then returning a couple of days later, I found that the smarthome app changed/updated itself and it not only deleted my bulbs from from the app altogether but now requires that you pay $6.99 WEEKLY just to use it. It literally will not even allow you to add the bulbs unless you pay for it, which now means there is no way to actually even try and pair the bulbs. I feel like I got scammed. Did a little looking around and I found a new app (that doesn’t require an absurd payment plan for controlling lightbulbs) and I’m going with a more reputable company, even if they are a couple dollars more upfront, well worth it in the long run. I will at least add that the bulbs themselves were fine. They were plenty bright enough for what I was looking for but no idea how well they dim, change color, speed/responsiveness, blinking, etc. because the app that controls them is a ridiculous greedy joke. I mean honestly, what’s the point of spending the extra money to have smart bulbs if you literally can’t use any of the smart features? Disappointed.

Initially, they were quite reliable, but they tend to get disconnected easily, and reconnecting them is a real hassle. Now, it’s to the point where it doesn’t detect Wi-Fi and doesn’t connect to Bluetooth, leaving you with a blinking light. Wi-Fi only supports 2.4 GHz, not 5G, so it’s outdated unless you find a workaround. Even then, it’s still a pain. Update: great customer support they help me solved my issue and my bulbs are working great Thanks again!!

I installed the bulbs in my outdoor pole lamp. Easy to install and operate. Give a nice accent to the yard at night. Nice price and quick delivery.

Two bulbs stop working after six months. But they sent me replacements and all are in good condition working great

Love these easy to set ub bulbs and there dimmable buy 100w equivalent you can say 75% For 60w and even lower if needed you can change colors warm white brite white or any color love these bulbs

The bulb blinks constantly whenever it loses Wi-Fi connectivity or during power outages, which is incredibly frustrating. The reset function requires toggling the switch three times, leading to frequent unintentional resets. I installed these at my parents’ house, but since they live far away, and I'm not there to constantly add it back thoughthe app this issue rendered the bulbs unusable, we had to set them aside—a total waste of money. I really wish they would release a firmware update to resolve these problems, particularly for handling power outages and resets. Honestly, who thought it was a good idea for the bulbs to blink incessantly every time they lose connection ??!!!! It’s a terrible design choice. If I could, I’d give this 0 stars.

Installed it for my father was easy! He wanted brighter , and got brighter from 60whatt to 100 🤓 Not complaining about his lights now so 👍🏼
