Strong winds the past few days and the parasol stand has stood strong. It's a lovely looking base and also not too big which is why I bought it. It is very heavy compared with other bases, even bigger ones so an excellent base. But I have a standard parasol and it was very loose in the holder despite screwing the retainer screws to full capacity. So that is my one criticism. I solved the problem by squashing in some dense foam to wedge the parasol stick in securely. I think the manufacturers should redesign this base so as to ensure that the parasol retainer screws can be screwed in further.

The parasol base is a nice addition to my garden. It is very sturdy, and heavy.It is easy to move as there are finger holds on the underside of the base.The pole support is quite wide. Our parasol pole is only about 1 inch / 25 mm so I put in a length of foam pipe- insulation which keeps it nice and secure.The base arrived well ahead of estimated delivery date. The seller kept me informed about my order.The marble base is just what I have been looking for, and I am very pleased with it.

Should have been ideal as it was the right weight and looks good. What I didn't appreciate was that it had been sold as new, however on arrival the outside box was undamaged but on opening it was obvious that it had been repacked. On closer examination I saw that the stone base had been chipped and repaired as the repair was slightly raised and the adhesive was clear to be seen on the edge - disappointing!

The base will be sufficiently sturdy for my rectangular parasol to stand alone. However, the picture on Amazon shows it green & black arrived pinkish & black .. product description is just black ?? - can live with it pinkish. Most annoying of all, the hole in the granite base was not formed/drilled out sufficiently for the retaining bolt to pass through , I had to gently drill it out myself. It’s not everyone that has the tools to be able to do that.. also, to tighten the fixing bolt securely a socket head tool will be required.

This Parasol base arrived early and was very easy to assemble indeed.It is heavy (so if you have to move it a lot, maybe one with wheels would suit you better - unless you're young and strong of course, but it is a good looking base and I am very pleased with it. would recommend

This parasol base is really lovely, and, a little unusual, there is nothing on this great base to rust,so should last a few rust free years, it is heavy and stable, which is what you want when the wind blows. It has a handsome look to it, and I have had many positive remarks from friends and family. I will definitely buy another, and would recommend this seller and product. Go on, you know you want to!!!

This is a very fine and stable base for a parasol. A nice heavy piece of granite, which is excellent value for money. To make, polish and deliver such a heavy piece of rock for the price is amazing.
