I purchased mine (with wooden handles) last year & have had no issues. It does exactly what I was wanting ... cutting pastry evenly.

Worth it, but not great
Works decent. I use for cinnamon rolls, doesn’t always cut them all the way and the metal is flimsy so it bends. Overall worth it. But could be made better

at last, a uniform cut... I'm terrible at measuring
At last, I can have a uniform cut on my puff pastry. I am terrible at measuring or cutting a straight line for my French Cream Horns, [aka Lady Locks or Cream Horns]. This device allows me to set the distance and have a uniform cut for each strip. It is also useful for many other culinary projects. I look forward to discovering all the uses for this 5-wheel slicer.

Bent first time, terrible at cutting. Do not buy!
Both handles bent the first time using it and couldn’t even cut completely thru the first pass. A totally useless tool. I just went back to using a nice pastry cutter and ruler.
