The pen arrived on time. Nice basic pen with a fine nib (difficult to get fine nibs in the UK for some reason) and good ink flow. It would have been nice to get the ink 'converter' included as Lamy cartridges are difficult to buy off the shelf. I already own another Lamy fountain pen with a medium nib which is an excellent writer, better than most of my more expensive fountain pens. The fine nibbled addition is also an excellent writer which due to the fineness of the nib allows much smaller writing to be done without letters 'leaking/merging' into each other. Lovely pen, very yellow so easy to find in dark handbag.

Really nice looking pen but don't love the extra fine nib. I found it scratchy in comparison to the fine nib and ended up buying a replacement nib

I really like this pen. It just feels right in my small-ish hand, looks good and writes well. I have the shiny yellow one with an extra-fine nib and the matt graphite one with a fine nib and I like them both equally. After not using a fountain pen regularly for decades, I've had a bit of a fountain pen-buying splurge recently and also bought some stylish classic pens (a Parker 51 and a Lamy 2000), which are really great, but I enjoy writing with the Safari every bit as much. A fun pen to travel with, and you don't have to worry about someone nicking it as they are cheap to replace. An unequivocal five-star rating - I only wish I could have written this review with it instead of a clunky computer keyboard...

After owning a Lamy medium-nib, I got this one with an extra fine nib for writing in small diaries. I was very pleased to find this one has a far finer line and is just as nice to write with, without being excessively scratchy. It's also quite durable and excellent value as it writes better than other fountain pens I've paid a lot more for! The grib is very comfortable and the pen is reasonably light without feeling cheap. I use turquoise parkers and brown waterman's ink with mine which work well.

Bought with Lamy Safari Converter Z24 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0019W4EIW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share as an alternative to using the blue cartridge this pen comes with so I could use bottled ink. Great pen, writes smoothly. Would definitely recommend both products. Also see videos on YouTube and product website for how to use the converter and how to change nibs.

I've used many fountain pens over the years and this is by far the best. The nib does not 'scratch' the writing surface (even when less quality paper is used) and the ink flow is even and constant. I've carried it around in my rucksack and it never leaks. If you're hovering between a 'fine' and 'extra fine' nib, I'd suggest the latter - Lamy nibs tend to be on the chunkier side, so this is perhaps equivalent to a fine nib by other manufacturers. An excellent purchase and a very happy customer.

Guter Füller, der auch bei langem Schreiben gut in der Hand liegt und die Feder macht das, wofür sie gedacht ist. Da schliert nichts und selbst bei sehr "dicken" und "dünnen" Tinten ist das Schriftbild sauber.

Colecciono estilográficas. Entre las que he comprado y las que me han regalado, tengo cerca de 120. La mayoría de ellas, son plumas "de diario", plumas de coste contenido o económicas, que puedo usar cualquier dia, sin miedo a perderlas o estropearlas. De ocurrir algún percance, con poco dinero se repone y asunto arreglado. Hay otras, que uso mas esporádicamente, y que me dolería perder o que se estropearan, ya que o bien no podría volver a comprar una de la misma marca y modelo, o bien sería bastante cara. Esta Lamy Safari es la cuarta que tengo de esta marca. Al igual que el resto de mis Lamy, escribe nada mas poner el cartucho. No hay que cebarla presionando el cartucho, ni sacudir para que fluya. La escritura es muy suave. El plumín no rasca en el papel, y el flujo es mas que suficiente y constante, sin saltos en el trazo por mas que realice líneas rápidamente. Es una delicia escribir con estas plumas. Es característico el corte triangular de la boquilla, que a los usuarios noveles les ayudará a asirla y escribir con ella en el ángulo correcto. A los usuarios con mas experiencia, si bien no nos hace falta, tampoco estorba. Por lo demás, y aunque la estética es cuestión de gustos, me encanta el color y la textura de esta pluma.

Ce stylo plume est un grand classique qui ne décevra pas. il est très ergonomique et permet une écriture fluide. Convient à (presque) tous
