This is one very bright and durable flashlight! I needed something for taking my dog out at night and this works like a champ! Holds a charge for several days and even has a foldable handle for easy carrying.

I use this light to scan our property boundaries at night. We need to periodically assess the level and types of predators are in the area of our livestock. I was surprised at how bright and how far the throwing distance of the usable light at the lowest setting. At the highest setting, it gives me a lot of distance ranging ability to see what's out there. The onboard battery is still relatively new as the number of charging cycles has not been high at this point. That is testament to how long the effective usability of that battery is. Depending on the charger used, the time to full recharge is fairly quick. I've never directly timed it, I just know that it seems to be fully charged when I need to grab it and go. Because the number of cycles is still pretty low, I cannot comment on the longevity of the battery in terms of its useful life expectancy. I will note that in addition to a wall charger, you can attach the charging cable from the spotlight to an external battery pack like those which Anker make. That will extend the amount of time your spotlight will run.

Received it today specifically for use in the boat at night. Seems very Well built and I have no doubt it will work well my need. Only complaint is I wish it had a carrying case or pouch to protect it in the storage well. Can’t hold that against it though as it wasn’t advertised to come with one

I like how bright this light is! I also like the concentrated circle of light in the center. Then a much more faint light around the bright center with a large radius. That combination makes it easy to keep the brightest part of the light on the lake. Not on people's houses. Mine is mostly used in the boat. I would put the brightness at or very near the 2 million candle power range. All that said I do not find the handle comfortable. One handed, I can't unlock then pull the trigger without shifting my hand. There is a high, medium and low light. Plus an SOS but it's not in the line up of trigger pulls. U activate the SOS with a long trigger pull. If u keep the say high beam on for a length of time. A single trigger pull shuts it off. Otherwise trigger pull through Hi, Medium and low. I'm not sure if it floats. The pic on the ad shows the light settling to the bottom. So I'm guessing it won't. I should try it in a bucket so I know. It also has a 1/4-20 tripod socket and a relatively stout stand. All in all I think it was worth the money but time will tell.

Very nice will make a great light for my boat

A friend works as a Supervisor at a VERY large apartment complex managing 3 shifts of security staff - that requires a very frequent use of a flashlight when doing security rounds through out the complex via golf cart. He asked me to research and order "a very bright AND very solid sturdy built" flashlight. He complained he was very annoyed about having to order ANOTHER flashlight,... as he has had to replace numerous flashlights over his 3 years on the job due to the co-workers either dropping the flashlights or the flashlights break falling off the security golf carts. I searched very throughly for about 1 hour 15mins looking at TOO MANY flashlights... then came across this one. I thought it checked all the boxes of his verbal requirements regarding a replacement flashlight "that is durable, bright and it would have to survive multiple falls that the co-workers on 3 shifts dish out to it. They all have been using this flashlight for several weeks now. It was a GREAT choice! Not only is it tolerating the staffs' clumsiness, it's plenty bright for performing high quality security detail doing "rounds" around the complex .... AND all shifts of the security detail have voluntarily reported how much better this flashlight is compared to ALL the others they had been using ... and breaking. My friend indicates that he feels this flashlight is perfect in every way for security detail and for responding to emergency events at the complex. He indicated that he would order this light again without hesitation if another is needed.

Great handheld. Relatively light weight, nice to hold both materials and balance, charges easily and quickly and stays charged, and the beam it makes is incredible both in focus and brightness. My favorite for sure.

Bright spotlight. Works well for working in my dark storage room and also charges my phone during power outages. It’s nice that it has a built in stand.

Say goodbye to purchasing large lantern batteries as this guy is rechargeable. Very bright on the high setting and has a nice handle. Really nice flashlight when the power goes out
