Ticks all the boxes!
I have gripes with most of these insulated bottles ... They either leak when they are supposed to be leak-proof, the lid is annoying, they don't insulate properly, they taste metallic or don't fit in my cupholder...This one has none of those issues.- It doesn't leak AT ALL; it's remarkable actually considering the lid design ... I can drink from any angle and then close it by pressing it down and voila, no leakage whatsoever.- The lid is somewhat annoying to clean in that it needs disassembling but cleaning itself is easy, and the lid dishwasher proof (although the cup is not; the inside is delicate and you can't use metal utensils with it either)- It insulates perfectly as long as you remember to close the lid; I've had drinks in here for a few hours and they remained hot (above a temperature where you can down it).- Metallic taste? Not here - ceramic interior means it tastes just like it's coming out of a mug It's surprisingly pleasant and a bit of a shock to the senses; after trying so many travel mugs, with them all having a taste impact, you brace yourself for one and it's weird to just taste actual coffee/tea the way it's meant to be despite having been sat in a cup for 2 hours.- This definitely fits my cupholder! I don't know how regular the size of mine is, but it's a fairly new Mercedes A Class if that helps anybody. So all the usual cons are ticked off, are there any cons?Well, the inside is ceramic, so although it's marketed as "shatter-proof" I'm not sure if that means you can safely drop it. With that said, the all-steel insulated ones become useless once they are dented from a drop, so I guess that's a con they all would share. To clarify, I have not tested dropping this one. I actually really like it and want to keep using it, and I paid for it so I won't be putting it through those kinds of paces!

Leakproof, sturdy and great value for money
I’ve always been skeptical when it came to ‘leakproof’ flasks and did a lot of researching when looking to buy one, so I’m glad I took a chance with this one after reading lots of positive reviews. The lid firmly clicks in and out to ‘lock’ and ‘unlock’ which I found to be a far better design and assures me that it won’t randomly open and leak when rolling around the bottom of a bag.The flask itself is sturdy, stays cool on the outside making it easy to handle and keeps drinks hot for a couple of hours. It’s easy to hold, easy to fill and has a line on the inside to indicate how much to put in.I personally find the lid heavy so struggle to screw/unscrew it and also struggle to take the lid apart to clean the separate bits but I’m sure I’ll get used to it in time.I debated between sizes but eventually opted for the 340ml (12oz) which although sounds small, is a very adequate size, especially considering the shape.I am highly satisfied with this product and would absolutely recommend.

Very Good Customer Support
UPDATED. Ashley from Bru contacted me to offer to replace my cup. Happily, however, it wasn't necessary as having consulted the support videos, I managed to reassemble the lid and now it doesn't leak at all. It's a lovely cup which is a pleasure to drink from and it does the job of keeping the drink warm. Excellent customer support too. I would agree with other reviewers that it's a shame that there's no way of knowing when the cup is locked or open without testing it out. This arrived a few days ago and I loved the colour and ceramic lining. I used it yesterday and found the size to be ideal for me, and it kept my drink warm with no leaking for several hours. Unfortunately, however, when I used it today I found that the 'lock' mechanism was not working and the lid didn't seem to screw on tightly enough, with the result that much to my embarrassment I spilled coffee all over a shop floor. As you can see from the picture, no matter how many times I tried to screw the top on, there is a gap between the lid and the cup. I tried to contact customer support but the link didn't work. This is very disappointing after just one use so I am considering returning the mug.

A great product
I really love this coffee cup. I took ages looking at different ones online, because I really wanted to find one that met all my needs and so glad I finally chose this one! My last coffee cup was the Circular Cup (formerly rCUP) which I did really like and had for about 4 years, but eventually the taste had started to diminish. It also just didn't really have a very nice feel, and was difficult to clean. So I basically wanted a replacement that took all of the best features from that cup but improved upon the design, and that's exactly what this cup does!Although it's advertised as ceramic, I think it's more accurate to describe this cup as being metal with a ceramic coating on the inside. Anyway, it works really well to make the cup easy to clean and preventing the cup from taking on odours or weird tastes. It acts almost like teflon, so when you're done cleaning the cup, it really does feel clean. Also, the way the lid comes apart for cleaning is really clever and easy to do, meaning you don't have to worry that you are drinking old coffee gunk every time you take a sip (as was the problem with my last cup).It was also really important to me that it be leak proof so that I could carry it in a backpack. I've had no problems with leaks, and it also keeps the coffee very hot (but I haven't tested over a long period).I also love the green colour. If I could change anything about it, it would be to make it slightly less bulky. But I think that is a pretty universal problem among these sorts of reusable cups. The lid is pretty chunky, but there's a lot going on in the lid.My only other concern is how well the lid will hold up over time. Because it's quite a sophisticated mechanism, I can imagine something giving at some point. I will try to update this review if it does.Anyway, I love it and I hope it holds up and that they keep making it forever.

Great travel mug
Bought for use while driving, and it's proven a good purchase! I've had all sorts of travel mugs bought for me in the past and there's always been some feature that I didn't like. This mug, however, has nothing that I don't like! It's easy to open and close one handed on the go, and you don't have to pay attention to which way you're holding it when you drink in case it's the wrong way round and coffee goes down your front instead of into your mouth 😅 Drinks stay hot or cold for hours on end, and when I throw it into my bag at the end of the journey I won't have to worry that it's going to leak. Full disclosure, I did initially have an issue with a lid not closing but the seller was very responsive and helpful. It seems like there was a faulty batch, but they quickly resolved the problem over and above what they needed to. Would definitely recommend.

Quite Unhygienic
Pro's: 1. Ceramic coating stops the metallic or plastic taste you get with other mugs, 2. keeps drinks warm for a couple of hours, 3. holds a decent amount of your drink.Cons: 1. There is a big con, keeping this mug clean is a faff, the lid comes apart into 3 sections, which can go in the dishwasher. However, one of the sections has a rubber gasket that needs be removed otherwise fluid seeps into the section with no way out, obviously highly unhygienic. There is no easy way to remove the gasket, so you either need long nails or use a bread knife to avoid damage. 2. Whilst the 360 degree drinking sounds good, if you're in a car and go over a bump whilst drinking - expect to have to change your top. 3. I am not convinced on durability yet, had it for 3 months and not sure the lid mechanism will last a year.

Nice but impractical (or maybe not so much -updated)
Its a beautiful cup but it doesn't function. First of all, the instructions for its usages suggests using a wooden spoon / stirrer for it so as to not damage the ceramic lining, who has one of these just kicking about? and surely this is less sustainable than using a normal spoon that you wash? It also suggests keeping it in a soft pouch when travelling, again, not really practical, but also if you recommend it then you should provide it!Finally mine has never worked 100%, it'll click open just great, but never clicks shut. I've taken it apart, put it back together, but it still doesn't work. The search continues...UpdateAfter this review I was contacted by Bru to offer me a replacement and as I had spent a while decided upon this one and it's a British company, I decided to give it another go. Unlike my dad's second Rover 75 (which also tried to kill him like the first one) I can say that this one is working perfectly and I'm delighted. They also made comments against my feedback, so you can use metal spoons for stirring your morning coffee, but it using a wooden utensil is simply a better option. Great. Secondly, the casing, it doesn't mean that it's going scratch every time it touches something, it certainly doesn't feel cheap, but to stop your keys in your backpack scratching it up, it would be best to protect it.For now I am delighted and a very satisfied customer after their proactive and personal responses.

So jealous, I had to have one too!
My husband bought a Bru cup for himself, I was using a different popular brand but I was so impressed and jealous of his cup that I bought one of my own. I love it. I was worried that it would stain but so far there are no issues with staining at all. I would warn if you use milk in your hot drinks you need to make sure that you take the lid apart and give it a good clean after finishing each drink. The seller was extremely helpful when I dropped my cup on a concrete floor and broke my lid. It is completely leak proof (unless you break your lid) I love the large size, it keeps my coffee nice and hot and with the tapered design it's easy to hold no matter how small your hands are, and fits well in cupholders. I would definitely recommend this cup.

Simple but sophisticated appearance, premium, almost perfect.
A damn near perfect travel mug that is a pleasure to drink from. I've mainly used it to drink both hot and iced coffee and it checks all the boxes for me. Keeps hot drinks warm for a long time as long as the lid is closed and iced drinks stay cold for even longer.Pros:-Cool 360 degree drinking design with an easy to disassemble lid.-Simple and sleek appearance.-Ceramic lining to preserve flavor. However, I bought the black color and you can see the tiniest sliver of the white ceramic peeking through when the lid is screwed on tight which may annoy those into the aesthetic aspect of this.-Comfortable 16oz size that is easy to grip with a sleek matte surface that resists fingerprints.-Rubberized bottom surface.-Effectively spill-proof when upright while the lid is popped open. Due to the lid's mechanical design that uses a plunger in the center to allow liquid through, there is an incredibly low likelihood of any spills while driving on rough roads unless you go past the max fill line.-Leak-proof while closed with one tiny caveat which I'll elaborate in the cons section.Potential cons:-The cup portion is not dishwasher safe. However, for a product this expensive I'd rather opt for a hand-wash instead.-The lid disassembles into 3 parts which may be a chore to clean if you drink anything with pulp or sediment in it. More parts also means more potential points of failure/damage. However, these parts are supposedly dishwasher safe and feel very sturdy. Again, I will be opting to hand-wash these parts.-Surprisingly loud clicks when opening and closing the lid. Think along the lines of popping an unsealed Snapple lid, a bit louder than that. Could be annoying when trying to keep your drink warm in quieter environments like offices. You could work around this by partially pressing in the lid to drink from it, however, the lid has some good resistance to it in order to be leak-proof and I can see this being too annoying for some people.-My main gripe with this cup which is still pretty minor is that if you close the lid too soon after a drink, some of the liquid can get trapped in the lid portion. This makes it so that if you turn the cup past 90 degrees it will likely dribble a tiny amount of liquid. This can be avoided as long as you let the liquid from the lid settle back into the cup while it's open. This is also why you don't want to go past the marked fill line as the plunger to open the lid will simply submerge into the liquid and suck it upwards. Just something to consider if you plan on tossing this inside a bag with other items. However, outside of this very specific circumstance the cup is indeed leak-proof in most practical situations.Despite the relatively minor issues I mentioned I still think this product deserves 5 stars as it hits the right balance of functionality and durability while also feeling very premium.

lo que más me gusta de la taza es que el interior es de cerámica y no es de aluminio o metálica. solo por eso la recomiendo. tamaño mediano. la forma es curiosa. lo mejor el interior.

Rare find
Very hard to find a to go mug that’s under 16oz and leak proof. I only drink 1 cup a day, and was tired of lugging around huge 20oz leak proof mugs for 1 cup. I also am known for spilling my coffee so leak proof is a requirement. I can say this is exactly what I was looking for and is leak proof. It’s easy enough to clean, although some gunk looks like it’s building up in the rubber rings that are no removable. Might have to take a tooth pick to them. Otherwise, I love it.
