Efficient
Great seam tape I used on a job recarpeting a house. It's wide enough and has great thermoplastic adhesive that bonds like the commercial grade I've used in the past

Temperature and time for glue to melt and bond
The product worked very well. I've never done a carpet patch before. YT vids good for guidance but lacked heat/time info for DIY first timers. Product also had no instructions regarding how to get glue to bond. We did two tests prior to using it for a carpet patch. Used a conventional iron and a wet towel over the carpet. Used an IR thermometer to determine actual temperature of the iron. First test was 250 degrees F and it took 12 minutes to get the glue to fully melt and bond. Second test was 300 degrees F and it only took 6.5 minutes for glue to melt and bond. We used 300 degrees / 6 minutes for patch as our target. Everything is holding well day after tests and patch were done.

Works well
This is professional tape, it joins the tape permanently. Just make sure you dont put the iron on the carpet.

It did the trick..
I had a few scraps of carpet that I wanted to piece together in my garage. I have used this tape before,.. it's what the pros use. I don't have the iron that they use, but I heated it with a heat gun until the glue was melted, and it did the trick! Very satisfied.

Bad Quality seaming tape
I am a professional flooring installer. I’ve been installing carpet for over a decade now and thought I’d try this seaming tape. Bought 2 and won’t be buying them again, glue comes off the tape too easily when using seaming iron (even on a low temp) and doesn’t bond to the carpet well. There are much better seaming tapes to choose from, just thought I’d give these a try. I’m assuming this is just cheap junk from China or the like. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone who installs carpet/ and or flooring as a profession. Might be fine for someone doing a DIY job at their house but I wouldn’t use this in a commercial/residential job setting
