Bought this primarily for Invisalign trays, have also used on my watch bands now and am guessing I’ll find a few other items to use this for down the line. Cleans well, works mostly as advertised. I hope these points below help future buyers. - This does not always run for 5 minutes. I’ve noticed it stopping at 2-3 minutes before. This is inconsistent, I don’t know what triggers the unit to stop. I run 2x most times anyway, not a big deal. - The water gets quite warm inside (I always start with cold tap water, 75F measured this morning). I worry about this with Invisalign as they aren’t supposed to see hot water to avoid warping, but the softening point of the tray material is ~210F/99C and this unit doesn’t boil the water, so hopefully I don’t have issues with that down the line. I even posed this in the Q&A on this listing and am surprised at the range of answers I got including right from the seller saying it barely warms up if at all. But it’s quite warm after use - 95F that I measured this morning after one use, 110F after two uses, and 120F after three. I feel like two consecutive uses would be normal for some cleanings, but beware of the temperatures the water will reach. - Another review mentioned this doesn’t work without a lid, that is false - the unit doesn’t care if the lid is on or not. I don’t care about this, but don’t let that bad information change your decision. - While the unit itself isn’t loud like the listing says, your items rattling against the sides of the unit or against other items can be quite loud (as they will be with any ultrasonic cleaner). The lid hides a small bit of the noise, but I run it without the lid to keep the temperature down slightly (the lid is covered in condensate if you run it with the lid on and you can see the without-lid temps above). Ultimately, I recommend this if these factors above aren’t bad. Hopefully it lasts a while after 1-2x daily use, we shall see.

Purchased this item February 2024, and it worked until May 2024. The "ultrasonic" capabilities seemed to stop working as described: now, whenever I plug in the device and press the button in order to execute a deep clean on my retainers, though the button turns blue to indicate that it should be on, the device no longer vibrates or emits 42K Hz as described. Instead, the contents of the pod simply sit still in the device, so I can tell it's broken. When originally purchased, I also included the 2-year protection plan. When trying to file a claim via Asurion, this particular product, nor it's brand name, appears anywhere in the dropdown menu for selection. When I attempted to chat with an agent about this issue, I got a pop-up message informed me that "No Agents Are Available at this time"-- how disappointing, and frankly unprofessional, that there would be no help available from the product seller, nor anyway outside of an Amazon review to report a problem with the device. As a consumer, if I pay additional money to have the device replaced should it breaks, the manufacturer should makegood on their promise. Although I was happy with its performance for the first year, if you are considering this device or the protection plan, I hesitate to recommend them at all anymore.

I had originally purchased the same ultrasonic cleaner from this company a year ago to clean my clear retainers weekly and I love using it! Before I got this cleaner, I noticed there was some orange tartar buildup at the edges of my retainers - so I decided to go with this one instead of a similar product from a brand name company that cost twice the amount while using the same specs. And I was pleasantly surprised that it took care of the tartar and made my retainers squeaky clean to the touch using only cold tap water! So when they reached out to me this time with a promotional offer to try their updated version, I was happy to review it again. The same pros apply to this one as it did for the one I bought a year ago. Both operate at 42,000 Hz, cleans in only 5 minutes, can be used with just cold tap water or together with a cleaning tablet, and takes up relatively little counter space. I am still happy with the one I got last year, so I'm going to pass this one to my Grandma who would love using this for her dentures. If you're in the market to try an ultrasonic cleaner, give this one a go. I love that It's simple, efficient, and affordable.

Honest 1 year review since I bought this item. It does its function very well. My wife and I used it for our retainers every morning. After a couple months of use, the product kept shorting out and not working. We had to fuss around with the cable multiple times before it started up. A couple weeks of that, and it died. I contacted the seller and they gave me a new one. After a couple of months, it’s shorting out again. We are now in the stage where we have to keep moving the wire around for it to work (yes I keep it dry). It’s a shame, because it would’ve been a must have product for any household. It’s expensive but feels cheap. Beware when buying.

This cleaner was amazing. I used it about 2-3 times a week. It was great. Until it wasn't. Unfortunately, it stopped working. It did an amazing job for almost a year and a half ld though!

I’m very happy with this product. I just started Invisalign, and I heard that getting an ultrasonic cleaner is the best way to maintain thorough hygiene without affecting the tray’s taste or smell. This ultrasonic cleaner is very effective, easy to use and easy to clean, and the automatic shut off after 5 minutes is really helpful. I also love that it’s super easy to travel with. There are a lot of options to choose from, but this product is a great balance of quality and price. My only suggestion for prospective buyers is to put the pod on 2 or 3 cleaning cycles before taking your appliance out to wear. I noticed a good clean with one cycle, but 2 or 3 cycles really does the trick because the water has more time to heat up and loosen particles stuck in the appliance. Overall, I think this ultrasonic cleaner is great!

I am half way through doing 14 weeks of Invisalign treatment and I asked my dentist if it would be a good idea to get a sonic cleaner, which she recommended. I decided to pick this one up as it seemed like the best value and I was able to get a £5 off voucher using amazon, making this quite a good price! It's very easy to use, simply fill with water, plug it in, place your aligners (or retainers, dentures etc) inside and switch it on. There's a slightly whirring noise and you can see the water rippling from the sonics. It takes about 5 minutes for it's complete cycle, which works nicely as I can put my aligners on to clean while brushing my teeth, and while eating a meal, which saves a lot of time repeatedly rinsing and brushing. My aligners are left nice and clean afterwards, and it's as simple as rinsing and wiping the cleaner after use to have it ready again for the next use. For the price this is at, and the sheer convenience and peace of mind it provides by keeping my aligners clean through the day, I would definitely recommend this.

I brought this in April 2024 to help clean my Invisalign retainers. The switch on button is a bit fiddly and isn't easy to press. That said, it worked pretty well until about a week ago when it refused to switch on. Having spent around £40 for this machine, you'd think it would last at least a year or so. Luckily, Amazon has been very helpful and kindly allowed me to return the machine for a full refund. Verdict - buy something better even if it means you pay more.
