Fenge Dual Monitor Stand Riser, Wooden Desk Shelf with 2-Tier Storage

For years I was against monitor risers and stands as a concept easily defeated by VESA mount on monitor arms, but I overlooked a secondary function that monitor risers have: Display and storage. I have too many keyboards. Three that I regularly use. Now I can throw two of them in a drawer when not in use, or I can look at them and appreciate them all the time. I’m not a fan the usual keyboard displays either: awkward acrylic stepladders that they are. So had to figure out something else. I also have a headphone amplifier that I like quite a bit but was just sitting out on the desktop. So I looked at seemingly every monitor riser that exists on Amazon, and elsewhere and found that this Fenge product (Rodin on their website) fits the intersection of value, good build quality, and beautiful design aesthetic. Unlike the Hexcal shelf, which has great build quality and design, but costs $600+, for $109 (at time of purchase), you get a visually intriguing multilevel riser with aluminum hairpin feet, good sturdy materials, a beautiful (albeit synthetic) warm walnut finish (though available in four other finishes as well). Cleans easily with a dry or lightly damp rag. This isn’t your Mind Reader riser with all function but being an eye sore. It’s also pricey enough and has an interesting enough product to feel premium without being unreasonably priced for what you get. Building it was a pleasure. Packed so well, and everything in order as far as parts go. Wasn’t missing any, assembled so easily, and even better to see in person than in pictures. I have a 72” desk and had to rearrange some things to fit it, but well worth it. It serves the functions I need, but if you need more from it (like holding your devices), there’s another variant with phone, headphone and laptop stand built into this design. Also, if this isn’t visually interesting enough, there’s a third version with RGB and an acrylic lower shelf to create some illuminating pop on your workspace. As you can see, my workspace has no shortage of illumination as is, so I skipped that. But I think it did well. It partially displays my keyboard collection, stores my headphone amp, can hold a pen or two as I study, and I don’t need it to do much more on the regular. I know it won’t fit every desk aesthetic, but if you already have tech statement pieces on your desk, this may be the perfect complement.

I got this to provide a place to tuck my 49 key Arturia keyboard. The only thing I wish they would offer is a taller leg option by 1 or 2 inches in height. Regardless this thing is a beast and will easily hold a wide screen monitor or dual 27” monitors and space to tuck your laptop underneath on the middle shelf out of the way. I happen to have my monitor on an arm to provide even more usable space on the top. I have a USB switch on the right middle shelf and room for my AirPods on the left with room to spare. My Apple pencils fit perfectly on the tray as well as my iPad. In order to make this work for my application I ended up getting some acrylic cubes and silicone bumpers and pads to raise the height by two inches so my 49 key keyboard would easily fit underneath. It turned out really well for the look I wanted. If the legs were longer I wouldn’t have had to take it this far. The color is pure white and matches my desk color perfectly. It was super easy to put together. It is very solid and has a durable easy to clean finish. All in all I have no regrets making this purchase. It is very functional even without the height modifications that were specific to my needs. I will come back with a photo or two once I get settled in my new place and finish getting my studio set back up.

I got this to help with functional space on my small desk. It has been a game changer! I love it so much. The build instructions were a little bit hard to understand but I figured it out. I adore this addition to my office and I would 💯 recommend this purchase.

Easy to assemble and feels very sturdy which is reassuring if you are putting two monitors on the riser. The oak color is nice, but the finish isn't completely smooth which isn't too big of a deal. Several design choices like the metal feet and groove are well thought out. I love how the feet doubles as an attachment point for the lower shelf for functional and aesthetic reasons, and the groove is nice for holding my phone for when it's not on the MagSafe charger I have sitting in front of the riser. There is plenty of storage space in the lower shelf so I can fit my M4 iPad Pro in the middle slot, which fits in with more than enough space on either side. My only qualm is that the riser is quite tall so depending on your height and table setup, the monitor(s) may sit too high. Overall, can highly recommend as an alternative to expensive monitor risers that are on the market.

UPDATE: Customer Service from Fenge regarding this experience went above and beyond. They took my issue seriously and made it right. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome and they assured me this was unacceptable on their part. I look forward to their new product offerings. — Everything about this stand is exactly what I was looking for. From the double shelf, multiple slots/compartments, and even a spot/ledge to prop my iPad up in addition to storing pens and other things I need at arms reach. It was even easy to put together and took less than ten minutes from unboxing to fully assembled. Why just 2 stars then? The shelf arrived with multiple scratches in several areas really taking away from the excitement of finding exactly what I was searching for.

The perfect workstation riser. Very happy with it and it matches my desk well. I’m only using a single wide screen but it’s still perfect with lots of room on the side for other things. Would buy again

This product is awesome! I spent some time looking at different desk risers and none of them interested me because of how cheap and flimsy they looked. That's not the case with the Fenge Dual Monitor Stand. The design is really sleek, modern, and sturdy. The wood is also just as high quality. It took me only 20 minutes to assemble it together with the tools that were provided. Instructions were simple to follow too. It was that easy! It comes with some clear rubber feet that slid off the bottom of the aluminum footing after a while but even without them, it stands firm on top of my desk. The two-tier shelving is super functional. I'm able to fit my 11inch iPad Pro in the side shelf and my Magic Keyboard with number keys fits perfectly in the middle shelf. It's actually pretty scratch resistant too. I love the ambiance that it brings. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a high quality riser, with a great design, at a value you can't ignore!

Edit: Nearly 2 years on and it’s stood the test of time. Fully recommended. Grovemade have released a niche line of desk shelving units that are upward of £300 upon receipt here in the UK after import taxes & duties paid. I’ve been searching for a similar alternative ever since. At a third of the price, look no further! I was initially apprehensive seeing as this is the first review of the product, I didn’t have anything to go on. Deciding to bite the bullet, I was pleasantly surprised. A large box arrived with the panels inside that were very well packaged with shipping foam rather than polystyrene. The instructions provided are printed on a A4 booklet, with clear and large diagrams. After unpacking the parts, the build was a breeze and took 45mins approximately. A few tips: try to have a second pair of hands to push down the bottom panel when screwing in the 8 screws to the interior dividers. Without help, ensure you press down with your free hand as you screw in with the other (this may require a little force). The screws will then pull the panel flush, otherwise you’ll have a 2-3mm gap! Try and use your own Allen keys if you can - this will help immensely as the smaller key is under an inch in length. Other than the one small Allen key, I don’t have any gripes whatsoever. I was left with arguably a better looking and more modern monitor stand. THE BOTTOM LINE - As someone who works from home full time, I needed a sleek unit to fit under my monitor that is on a vesa mount to use for storage. Fenge have done an exceptional job in delivering a modern, reasonably priced unit without sacrificing build quality. I can fully recommend this product and confidently say; Grovemade is no longer the standard! Buy it and don’t look back.

La notice de montage est claire et tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour monter ce rehausseur se trouve dans la boite. (J'ai quand même sorti un cruciforme pour les finitions) Le meuble se monte vraiment facilement, Il est Stable, Solide et très esthétique (beau design). il apporte des espaces de rangement, ce qui manquait à mon bureau Assis/debout. Je suis vraiment satisfait de mon achat, N'hésitez pas une seule seconde.
