I rarely stay loyal to skincare products for years because I’m always testing and trying new things, but DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is one of the very few products that has remained a permanent part of my routine. I’ve repurchased this multiple times over the years, and every time I try another cleansing oil, I eventually come back to this one because the performance is just consistently good. The first thing that stands out is how effective it is at removing makeup. I wear waterproof mascara, eyeliner, sunscreen, and long-wear foundation regularly, and this breaks everything down incredibly fast without needing to aggressively rub my skin. I usually apply one pump onto dry hands and massage it onto my dry face for about 30 seconds. You can literally feel the makeup dissolving almost immediately, especially around the eye area where stubborn makeup usually takes extra effort to remove. What I really appreciate is that it removes heavy makeup in one application. I don’t have to go back in multiple times or use separate eye makeup removers anymore. Even waterproof mascara that normally leaves residue around the lashes comes off cleanly. That alone saves me so much time at night when I’m exhausted and just want my skincare routine done quickly. Once water is added, the oil transforms into a light milky texture that spreads evenly and rinses away very easily. Whenever I see it on sale, I stock up because it’s one of those products I genuinely never want to run out of. Overall, this is one of the most reliable cleansing oils I’ve used. I use this every single day to remove my sunscreen at the end of the day. If you wear SPF daily you know how hard it is to fully get it off with a regular cleanser. This oil breaks it down completely without scrubbing or tugging at your face. The gentleness is what keeps me coming back. I massage it onto dry skin for about a minute and everything dissolves. Sunscreen, any makeup residue, whatever built up during the day. It rinses clean with water and leaves zero greasy residue behind. My skin feels fresh after, not stripped or tight. No fragrance and no colorant. I appreciate that because my skin reacts to basically everything unnecessary in a formula. Zero skin irritation after months of daily use. The ingredients are simple and effective. Olive oil based with vitamin E and it doesn't try to do too much. Just cleans thoroughly and gets out of the way. My skin appearance has honestly improved since I started using this consistently. I think properly removing sunscreen every night was the missing step in my routine. Pores look cleaner, fewer random breakouts, and my other products absorb better on freshly cleansed skin. The medium 4.1 oz bottle lasts me about two months with nightly use. This is my favorite cleansing oil. I love how it’s able to break through my waterproof mascara. It’s a little sad that it’s a bit more expensive than other brands but it is worth it for me. Another oil that is comparable to this that I’ve used before is the Skin 1004 cleansing oil but I think this one is slightly better at breaking down my makeup. It breaks down my makeup without pulling and dragging my skin. I have hormonal, acne prone skin and it doesn’t make things worse for me. There’s also not a strong scent

This cleaning oil is the absolute best! I have sensitive skin and this is my favorite way to remove my makeup at the end of the day. It doesn't really have a fragrance to it which is great because that reduces skin irritation! The ingredients are of a much higher quality then any makeup remover I've found in a drugstore and I've found it's really justifies it's price. I haven't experienced any leaking of the product, but I do store mine vertically on a shelf with the rest of my skincare. Now onto my second bottle!

My all time favorite cleanser. Feels luxurious. I take 2 pumps massage it on my entire face and eye area and rinse it off with warm water. It gets all my makeup off and my waterproof mascara completely melts away, leaving my skin feeling pampered. Hope it never changes. Note: I did try the DHC Exfoliating Cleanser, though, and did not like it so don't bother with that one.

I’ve bought this three times, now. It removes waterproof mineral sunscreen from my babies’ skin (daily in the summertime!) without issue and is so effective- crazy gentle to boot! I use it nightly for makeup and sunscreen removal from myself and I adore it. The fragrance is subtle rosemary-herb garden like without being heavy or cloying.

I tried others that tried to be like you, but never again will I be without you. This cleansing oil doesn't hurt the eyes and all the makeup including eye makeup just melts off. I love this makeup cleansing oil.

I have used DHC cleansing oil over 20 years now, from when I was a teen just started learning wearing makeup, countless empty bottles, this product has out performed all other brands’ cleansing oil I have tried over the years, simply the best cleanser on the market. Dissolves all makeup, non greasy, leaves skin clean and soft, does not irritate eyes, I always do a double cleansing after this oil, it works wonders.

This is an amazing product! I will ALWAYS use it to cleanse my skin at night. It is so gentle, thorough, and comforting. Massage some on and feel the self - care. Your skin will thank you! It smooths away the day's accumulated, makeup, dirt, grime and other pollutants that we all encounter day to day. Over time it clears away collections of sebum on your skin (blackheads) and leaves your skin fresher softening and comforting. I am so glad to have found this product and if you care for your skin (and you should) you will love this wonderful oil. What a find!

I absolutely love this oil, I have used it for years as part of a Korean 10-step skincare routine which changed my life. One pump is enough and glides smoothly over the skin with no drag, removes all makeup and oils effectively - just remember to apply it to dry skin. I am prone to acne and this doesn't cause a flare up for myself and my skin has completely cleared up since swapping from a more expensive well-known brand but that is in addition to overhauling my entire routine. This is definitely high quality without the price tag, one bottle lasts me around 3-4 months and I wouldn't use anything else and I've tried and tested a lot. The oil doesn't have any artificial parfum, it does have a smell but it is not overpowering nor unpleasant and doesn't linger. 10/10 would recommend.

I have a very sensitive skin, specially around the eyes. Tried all the makeup cleansers ever: from the most expensive to the droguerie products. Nothing worked, the area around the eyes was always red and super dry. Not to mention took ages and the eyelashes were always falling because of the rubbing. I saw a tutorial in You Tube from girlgetglamorous and she recommended this product. She is a professional make up artist and, I thought, well, she knows her thing. I will try it. What a find! Is amazing! My skin feels so silky after removing the makeup and really, after using it for a month, my skins feels softer and hydrated. And a bonus! You can remove make up from your brushes with this oil too! Just add a little to the palm of your hand, rub the brush aginst your palm to remove the make up and then wash it with baby soap: voilá! One of the best finds ever!
