Well made, sturdy, effective.
I love this nail file and the sleeve it comes in! I don't know why, but I've always preferred the metal nail files over the cardboard or glass ones. Perhaps it's because it's so sturdy! I have it in my purse at all times and it's saved me from some pretty jagged nail emergencies. It takes down your nail pretty fast, and I don't think it'll ever lose its grit.

An excellent product
It is a great product with both a coarse and fine side. This is an all metal, cut unit, not a cheapie with glued on grit. Should last a lifetime.

Quality
German quality, everyone picks it up to look at. Expensive but you get what you pay for.

Bowls needed too
Very nice set but would be better to include bowls - had to run around and find something which if didn’t match at least would blend in

Dificult to use!!!
Not what I expected !!! Difficult to use. it will probably last a long time, since it is stainless steel.

This is not an emery board
I was looking for a triple cross-cut nail file and got EXACTLY what I wanted. It's shorter than my old one, which I knew from the description, but does the same thing. It is great for shaping one's nails. If you want an emery board, don't buy this one. When I shape my nails, first I use clippers. Then I file the rough edges so they're smooth. But there are often little rough patches under the nails. I put the file under the nail and lightly file underneath. Then I gently repeat the edge to make sure it's still smooth. Next I put the file on top of the nail and gently pull it down over the edge. Last I go around the edges again very lightly. I make sure everything is smooth by running my nails down a soft fabric.ALERT: with this file, you must be gentle, because it is a true file and can eat pretty deeply.I'm glad I bought it; it's good quality, sturdy, and strong.

Hard to beat German quality
Over the years I have purchase from Germanikure three times. I've shifted to using a file for nail care, and have been pleased with their quality. Choose your desired file length carefully, as I mistakenly purchase this file not realizing it is shorter than my previous ones.

Una lima di grande qualità, da una parte normale dall'altra più aggressiva.

Beats my expectations
Wee background story: I had my beloved Gran's nail file since her death 45 years ago, one of a few possessions I kept. It's top quality & she brought it from England when she emigrated to Canada in 1920. Recently, it fell into and got jammed in a hot water baseboard heater in our apt. & I couldn't retrieve it, hence searched online for something similar. The GERManikure triple-cut stainless double-sided nail file looked just like Gran's. But it's even better because of the double-sides, one side for heavy duty filing, the other for touch-ups, and has a cool case.Cannot recommend this file enough. It's a beauty that exceeds my

I love that the tip is pointed and that the handle isn’t plastic. This should last 25 years easily. Works wonderfully!
