Sturdy and works great
It looks like they must have updated the support for the light because it is very sturdy and the light works perfectly. Very pleased with this purchase.

Great light
Love the light. I read several comments about the arm not being secure to hold the light but I did not find that to be the case. It’s very secure and I can pull it down with no problem.

The lamp is big so be careful turn off lamp if you are checking product

The bracket holding the light isn’t secure
The light itself works as it should I have no complaints there. Where I have an issue with it is the bracket that holds the light. You would think because it’s holding a light that the bracket would be secure but the only thing that’s holding it in is some ribbed rubber and a not so strong spring clamp. I was able to fix this with some spare wood I had that I cut and some bolts and nuts that I had already to hold the light in place so I can tilt it all the way down now like I need. Overall I’d say it’s a good light, but you might have to do some work to the bracket to make it secure.

I should have returned this item; NO INSTRUCTIONS. Read The Reviews!
I realize this unit was inexpensive and advertised as easy to assemble; however, as no instructions were included. I cannot see how the light is attached to the unit. It appears it should just snap into the holder; the so-called holder does not secure the light. Very frustrating. I am a couple days past the return date; I tried to contact the vender- no response. I will call Amazon and see if they might accept a return.

Excellent value, gets the job done!
Extremely well priced. It's not the most amazing build quality, but I don't think you need it to be if you're just exposing some screens casually as a DIY screen printer. It exposed at 16"x16" design at 12" away for 12 seconds and the art turned out great. I could have used even less time for the exposure. Saves a lot of time over a BBA Photoflood incandescent bulb. This is a great upgrade.

Powerful, but the arm could use some work
Powerful lamp. Taking a star away because the mounting between the arm and light is a cell phone holder and didn't hold the light securely. I had to make an adapter to make it feel secure enough for me.

Does the job
I'm using this expose cyanotype emulsion. It works well for that. It feels pretty flimsy though, not sure how long this light will last. Can't complain for now though, especially for the price.
