Great change from brown and white rice. Love the flavor and the color is vibrant. No more difficult to cook than white rice.

Black rice is so healthful, nutty, chewy with lots of beneficial anthocyanins, which help with inflammation and has antioxidants. Great flavor!

This is almost the forbidden rice I wanted. The nutty flavor isn't there but the taste is still great. Takes some time to prepare compared to white rice but it's worth it. This black rice is not the forbidden rice that has the nutty flavor. I still like this but will buy the real forbidden rice next time.

This is delicious and did not last in my cabinet. My husband and I were looking for a healthier version of rice and this did the trick. While we don't use it as a replacement for all of our rice dishes, it's a nice alternative.

This was my very first black rice purchase. My husband and I both liked the black rice. I cooked mine in chicken bone broth. I’ve already purchased two more cartons. I highly recommend you try it. It takes longer to cook than white rice, so make sure you put it on early enough for it to be done with the rest of your meal.

This is not authentic black rice! You can actually see the white pieces through the jar. I was disappointed with what I was sent but tried it out anyways.The rice has to cook longer than the average white rice but the taste isn't as bad as I thought it would be considering it is suppose to be a healthier version of rice. I tried it on the stove and in rice cooker, it cooks better on the stove.

I purchased this black rice and while the container is smaller than I initially expected, I quickly realized it's actually a great value for the price. After going to my local supermarket to compare, I found they were selling much smaller bags for $12.99 - way smaller than what I received from this Amazon purchase.The rice quality is good and cooks well. Sometimes our expectations can make things seem smaller than they are, but when you actually compare it to what's available in stores, this is definitely the better deal.Would recommend for anyone looking for black rice at a reasonable price point. Much better value than what you'll find at most grocery stores.
