Great for Hot Sleepers!
This duvet cover is definitely more breathable than the one I was using before. I only recently learned the difference between percale vs. sateen, and that explains a lot—this percale weave sleeps much cooler. My previous cover was regular cotton and ran very hot, which made sleeping uncomfortable. While this Brooklinen percale cover still gets warm (as most covers do compared to sleeping with just the comforter), it’s noticeably more breathable and comfortable overall. The material quality feels premium—crisp, cool, and well-made. I also really like the button closure instead of a zipper. It feels more breathable and natural, and it pairs well with airflow compared to fully enclosed zippers. Fit is great, especially with a high-quality down comforter. The extra-long corner ties keep everything in place, and the duvet looks and feels secure without shifting. Overall, a high-quality, breathable duvet cover that’s a big upgrade if you sleep hot or want something crisp and cool.

Good quality, feels nice and washes well.
Nice, crisp, cotton duvet cover. Smooth hand, ties inside make it easy to keep duvet in place. Washes up well. Overall, very good quality product!

Too thin/poor quality
Correct color/size & like the button closure. HOWEVER I have never had this many issues with a duvet cover tearing so easily. Yes I have a cat, I keep her nails trimmed & have had the same duvet cover for probably 3 years (from a different brand) & never had any issues. I wanted a refresh & decided to treat myself to this duvet cover. I haven't even had it a week & it has multiple tears in it. Waste of over $100.00

Doesn’t fully close
Very nice, feels nice. Low stars because it does not fully close. For the price I would expect zipper or full closure of some sort.

Perfect for hairy pet owners, you won’t be disappointed
I was hesitant to spend so much money on a duvet cover, but so glad I did. I have a golden retriever so her hair gets EVERYWHERE. The duvet cover I purchased previously was like a dog hair magnet, it was ridiculous and I couldn’t take it anymore. After doing some research, and a lot of hesitation, I went ahead and purchased this duvet cover. It shipped very quickly and was packaged very well. I was kind of shocked at how thin it was, it felt like a sheet, but washed it and put my down comforter inside to try it out. It has the ties on the inside to hold your blanket in place and the “hidden” buttons for closure on the inside. Although it was thinner than I anticipated, I absolutely LOVE the material, it keeps you warm, yet is cool to the touch. Not sure what I was expecting, but just because it’s thin, it does exactly what it’s intended to do. I do still see a little dog hair on it (my dog does lay on my bed so that’s to be expected) but after a quick shake when making it, it’s gone. I’m very happy with this purchase and was definitely worth the $180 I spent on it. I definitely recommend this duvet cover, especially those with hairy pets. I purchased the queen in grey.

Premium Price, Less-Than-Premium Durability: A Cautionary Tale of the Brooklinen Luxury Duvet
I recently purchased the Brooklinen Luxury Percale Duvet Cover in King/California King Size, drawn by its reputation for quality. While the 100% cotton material feels good and initially seemed to promise durability, I soon encountered several issues that led to a less than satisfactory experience. Firstly, the duvet cover is surprisingly prone to damage, especially if you have pets. Even minimal contact with animal claws resulted in rips, which was a major disappointment considering the premium price paid. This lack of resilience is a significant drawback for anyone with pets at home. Moreover, the buttons attached to the duvet cover are of poor quality. They are cheaply made and were poorly sewn on, which resulted in them coming off easily. This is not something I expected from a brand like Brooklinen, known for their attention to detail and quality. Finally, the overall quality of the product did not meet the high standards I've come to associate with Brooklinen. Given the premium price of the duvet cover, I expected a product that would withstand normal usage better and maintain its integrity over time. Unfortunately, this was not the case. In summary, while the material of the duvet cover is satisfactory, the lack of durability and poor construction make it difficult to justify the high cost. This product is not up to the standards I expect from Brooklinen, and I would think twice before making another similar purchase
