Persevere with the clasp. It took my daughter to fix it. Apart from that it's a very good watch.

I ordered a Victorinox watch and was extremely disappointed with what I received. The packaging was damaged and scratched, with several shipping labels stuck on it. Even worse, the strap had scratches and visible signs of use, as if the watch had already been worn. I ordered a new item, not a used one. Very poor quality control.
