Simple, high-quality "entry-level" electric scooter
I like the simplicity and build quality of this scooter. You can tell that it's solid and built well. It may not have all of the features that other electric scooters do, such as suspension or pneumatic tires, but it makes up for it in reliability and ease of use. Having solid tires means a bit of a rougher ride over bumps and cracks, but it also means less maintenance and not having to worry about getting a flat or filling your tires to the correct pressure. The screen has only one button which makes it very easy to operate and understand. The scooter looks sleek, is pretty quick in sport mode, and is lightweight and compact enough to store easily or bring with you in the trunk of your car. I am 6'0" 200 lbs and it doesn't feel too small for me. Overall, it's a well built, easy to use, worry-free electric scooter that's a great value for the price!

Good scooter, Drunkard friendly
This scooter is awesome. It is under-powered . It does not like to go up hills by itself. BUT, it is low to the ground, front wheel driven and rear wheel braked, VERY, VEEERRRRY well balanced and super functional. I got an upgraded version - the F2 pro, which does handle hills better, but the driivabilty is not nearly in the same ball park. The narrower handle bars make for finer corrections (or the lack thereof), and the front wheel drive eliminates the possibility of unwanted wheelies and burn outs. Moreover, the rear wheel manual braking is way, WAY better for the scooting drunkard, as there is no possibility of flipping the POS end over end

Good value great on smooth flat surfaces
I got this for my 8 year old son so he could scoot around the neighborhood with me. I got this one because it was about $200 cheaper than what I bought. It’s great for his size and weight it goes pretty quick on smoother surfaces. It does struggle going up hill. The brakes stop on a dime and i was able to get it ready out of the box in less than 5 minutes. It has a built in led kit which is controlled via Bluetooth so he really enjoys having a light show while he drives. The battery lasts for ever on a full charge too. 10/10 recommend

Nice scooter
Giving it 4stars only because the break is not so good but i had this scooter for over a year and was happy to have it. I think it’s more for girls because it’s a bit small (wheels) . Couple time had problems with breaking but other than that there were no issues. Battery lasts like 3-4days

Poor quality, even worse customer service
We are highly dissatisfied with both the quality of the scooters we purchased and the way my case has been handled through Segway customer support. If I could give this a 0 star rating, I would. Product Issues: We own two of these scooters. One is approximately a year old and one is only 3 months old. One scooter has required multiple brake repairs within the first year. In May, the brakes had to be fully replaced after we had already taken the scooter apart and attempted fixes several times. The second scooter began experiencing problems after only three months of use - including the front wheel and handlebars not staying aligned and brake issues. In addition to brake failures, we have also experienced missing and broken parts. And one of the scooters no longer stays in the unfolded position without manual assistance, making it unsafe to ride. These issues go far beyond what could reasonably be considered normal wear and tear. For products of this price point, it is not acceptable to be dealing with repeated breakdowns, parts failing, or needing major repairs so soon after purchase. Customer Service Experience: When I raised these concerns with Segway customer service, the representative repeatedly referred only to warranty policy and stated that my request for a replacement or refund was “outside of scope.” I explained that policies should not prevent the company from addressing product quality concerns on a case-by-case basis. Despite this, my request was dismissed, and the only option presented was to repair the scooter at my own expense. When I asked to escalate the matter to a manager or someone with the authority to review cases beyond warranty terms, the representative disconnected the chat and ended the conversation. This left my issue unresolved and, frankly, reflects very poorly on their customer service. In an era where companies once took genuine pride in the quality and durability of their products, it is unfortunate to see that Segway no longer appears to stand behind its scooters as it once might have. While I acknowledge that policies are necessary to maintain consistency, it is equally important to recognize that there are always exceptions—especially when repeated issues arise with multiple products from the same customer. Given these circumstances, I would have expected Segway, as a reputed company, to take proactive measures to make things right, rather than hide behind rigid policies that do not account for genuine product failures. This is not just about a warranty or a return policy—it is about maintaining customer trust and brand integrity. We will never purchase anything from segway ever again.

Excellent scooter for all ages
We bought this for my 8 year old grandson as several of his friends were using scooters. I wanted something that he would not out grow in a couple of years. He has used it for a year now and it is an excellent scooter. Very happy with the purchase.

Vroom vroom 15 mph is fast
Scooter is great. It got me to and from work which is about 5 miles away in 30ish minutes. Battery life lasted the trip there and back. It comes basically assembled you just click the handlebar section into the base and wham.

Nice build quality but a bit heavy and weak power. It can't climb small hills.
I got this for my daughter to use to get to her classes in college. It goes together super easily and is a very nice and clean scooter, however it can't go up even a moderate incline and it's pretty heavy with no carrying handle. If you try to carry it with the handlebar folded by holding the "neck" of the handlebar by the board (where it folds) and pull it with the rear wheel on the ground, the rigid mudflap drags, so that doesn't work. We couldn't find an easy way for her to manage it. So it's going back. It's too bad. This would be nice for flat ground commutes but with the hills around her campus, it's not an option for us.

Great gift!
Bought this for my son for Christmas. He loves it. Easy for him to manoeuvre, doesn’t take too long to charge and holds a charge well. He is able to lift it easily as well
