I am so impressed with this lotion! My skin feels genuinely hydrated and soft, not sticky or tacky like a lot of gradual tanners. It sinks in fast, so I can get dressed pretty much right away without worrying about transfer. The color is beautiful and natural-looking. In the Medium/Dark shade, the glow builds gradually. One application gives a subtle sun-kissed look, and layering over a few days deepens it into a rich, believable tan. No orange tones, no patchiness, and it fades evenly instead of going blotchy, which has always been my biggest issue with self-tanners. I also love the scent of this tanning lotion -- none of that harsh "fake tan" smell. I've been using it as my daily body lotion and love that I get moisturized skin and a healthy glow in one easy step.

This is hands down the best self tanner I’ve ever used (I’ve used several, including other Tanologist products). I’ve been using it all summer. It’s very easy to apply, almost impossible to mess up, and gives a gorgeous glow that honestly does last pretty long. It looks natural and doesn’t streak. I honestly apply it pretty carelessly and it still turns out looking so good. On top of that it smells great and doesn’t leave me feeling sticky. I plan to purchase this again and again.

I’ve been using this for a little while now and overall I really like it! It gives a nice, natural-looking glow without being too orange, and it’s super easy to apply like a regular lotion. I also appreciate that it builds gradually, so you can control how dark you want to go instead of it being too intense right away. The texture is smooth and moisturizing, and it doesn’t feel sticky once it dries. The scent is also pretty light compared to other self-tanners, which is a big plus. The only downside for me is that it can be a little streaky if you don’t take your time blending, especially around areas like elbows and knees. Just make sure to exfoliate and apply evenly. Overall, a really solid product for a subtle glow—would definitely keep using it!

I LOVE this stuff. I’ve been using the comparable St Tropez one for years to cover some pigment loss spots on my legs but it’s a bit pricey, so I took a chance on this one and it’s great. The color actually lasts longer than the other brand and is truly buildable. It smells really good and it’s easy to apply. The other one also takes a while to apply evenly compared to this one. The Tanologist formula is quite a bit thinner but it makes it so quick and easy to get even and non streaky. I’m so glad I found this stuff, it’s half the price and I actually prefer it!

Love this self-tanning lotion! It’s really hydrating and leaves my skin feeling soft instead of dry like some self-tanners can. It smells good, doesn’t have that overwhelming self-tanner scent, and I haven’t had any issues with it staining my clothes or sheets. The color is so natural, no orange tones or streakiness, and it develops gradually, which makes it perfect for daily use. You can keep applying it to build the tan to exactly the depth you want while still keeping it really natural-looking. It also fades evenly, which is a huge plus. Definitely one of my favorite gradual tanners! I’m pretty fair and the medium- dark is definitely not too dark!

The lotion isn’t too thick and goes on smooth. Overall felt hydrated throughout the day. When the lotion was applied it had a nice summery smell to it but now that it’s been on for about an hour, it smells like fake tanner. I’ll have to update in a few days on the tanning aspects of it. Update: got a nice bronze color without being so drastic. The fake tan smell stayed the whole time though which I didn’t like. Even when trying to put other lotion on top of it, I could still smell it. For the price I think it’s good if you don’t mind the smell.

This is the best tanning lotion I have ever purchased. With just one use, you already see a difference. My favorite parts of this is how fast it dries, how it smells like vanilla cupcakes (not a stinky self-tanning lotion!), it comes out thin and not thick so it covers thoroughly and will last a while, and it gives you a healthy glow, not a fake orange look. Highly recommend.

I used this a couple of times and then stopped because it did turn my hands a little orange. I already had a pretty significant tan from being a tanning bed user so I didn’t notice a huge difference after only a few uses. Couple of months later I wanted to give it another try and just committed to washing my hands after use. I will use this lotion for as long as they make it! The first thing I noticed was how quickly I got nice even color on my legs. I stopped tanning about six weeks ago and was pretty fair. Within three days of using I had a perfect tan that looks even and natural. I am only using it on my legs and I see very little to no difference between the natural tan I have on my upper body and the tan that I get from this lotion. But the tan is just the beginning of the benefits! I recently lost about 20 pounds. It left my legs with a but of loose skin. Not only does this lotion improve the texture and feel of my legs, but it is extremely hydrating, and it has improved the elasticity and overall appearance! I never want to be without this lotion!

Absolutely love this! Bought for a 2 week holiday and applied most nights after my shower. My skin has a lovely natural glow. I am naturally very fair and find a lot of tanning products leave me looking a bit orange, but this gave a subtle tan that looked very natural. It also smells really nice, unlike most gradual tans. The colour went on streak free most of the time (when it didn't it was down to my application!) and faded evenly. It's a little expensive but quite a big bottle so will hopefully last.

One of my absolute favourite tanning lotions. Nice depth of colour after just one use and it smells incredible. Super hydrating and maintains an even tan.
