Tree To Tub Biotin Thickening Shampoo with Soapberry & Caffeine, 8.5 Fl Oz

I've never used a natural shampoo before, but I recently decided to stop using sulfates and silicones in order to help tame my hair a little bit. I really, really like this stuff. I've used it 4 times now (I wash every other day, so it's been roughly a week), and my hair feels softer already. I can't wait to keep using it and see just how much better my life is without SLS and silicone. This comes in a pump bottle, but I found for my medium (chin-) length hair that I typically need somewhere between one and two pumps per wash. Using this shampoo is a little different than your typical drugstore shampoo. With a lot of other shampoos, when you lather the first time you get a pretty good amount of suds, and then when you repeat you get an even thicker foam. This shampoo takes that to the extreme. The first time you lather, not much happens. I was actually really disappointed--it was hard to spread through my hair, leaving parts of it feeling dry and other still dirty/oily. But when I repeated, it foamed like crazy! Way more than a regular shampoo would. You definitely have to lather, rinse, and repeat to get the full effect. Aside from that, the experience is very similar to standard shampoo. The shampoo says to leave it on for 2 minutes, which I found unnecessary. Maybe it helps for the "thickening" that it claims, but it gets your hair clean without that. The smell is great, very woodsy and herbaceous. You can definitely smell the rosemary in it. As far as cons go, I have little to report. It's expensive for the amount of product you get, but it isn't outrageous. It also made my hair feel extra prone to tangling in the shower, but I was able to detangle with some conditioner and it wasn't a problem. If you have a real tough time with tangles, be extra careful while lathering.

Tree to Tub Biotin Fine Hair Thickening Shampoo fulfilled every single claim. I'm going to go all fan boy here, but only because a company who delivers what it claims is so rare today. This shampoo... hey, I'm an older guy Okay? I've been around a Long time with the same pain the the behind hair. Very fine, no body or wave.... just super fine straw, okay? All I can do is be very careful how I wash it, use a good amount of some kind of dippity do gunk to hold it in place, or I end up looking like Moe Howard from the Three Stooges. Actually I end up looking like Moe anyway. NOTHING has ever worked for me, and I've been to great salons... heck I even dated Stylists who owned their own salon twice in my life. So, I've used the best "products", had meticulous haircuts, the whole thing and ended up looking like one of the Stooges. This shampoo... I've only used it once, so if it changes I'll come back, but today I had someone else's hair. No exaggeration. Full... beautifully shiny and thick... and FREAKING Manageable! Unbelievable people. I'm sitting here feeling my hair and instead of the stiff, straight, dead grass I used to have, this feels like Sable and Silk mixed together or something. I just bought another bottle in case the price goes up due to my review. Plus, it has all the ingredients which I already know help keep my hair from thinning and falling out. — My greatest compliments to this company. I really love it when I find a great company, and you guys are on my list of only about 4 or 5. HERE'S A GREAT TIP— I read reviews about it not lathering enough. What you want to do is start by rinsing your hair for a much longer time than just getting it wet. THEN pump out one or two pumps and it lathers like mad. At least it did for me. And speaking of that, my hair is my hair. Yours is yours— they're all different. So maybe you won't go stark raving mad for your hair like I have after using this shampoo. But I guarantee it's worth trying. You might go nuts too!

Noticeable difference in hair. Looked fuller.

I have been using this product for about a year now. What I have noticed is that my hair doesn't shed nearly as much as it used too. Split ends and frays are minimal compared to what it used to be as well. My hair is still a little frizzy but I chop that up to regrowth of hair and my pillowcase (bamboo). I love this shampoo because of the scent and what it has done for my hair. I feel like it has really helped my hair over the last year and my dry scalp is definitely under control. In my opinion, the only thing that deterred me from initially using this product was the texture and feeling of massaging this into my scalp. It also doesn't spread well enough for me so I have to use more than what is recommended. The cost of this product is a bit steep for the amount in one bottle. Other than that it has been a great experience and I will keep buying this regardless of the price. With this shampoo, I have changed the way I wash my hair. Warm water, lather and rinse with cool to cold water. Its' also important to remember to condition your hair as well. Conditioner is similar to lotion for your hair. Their matching conditioner is nice too.

I recently purchased this shampoo and was looking for a more natural shampoo. Like some reviews said it doesn't lather as much and it does make your hair fuller and seem thicker and your hair feels really clean as if you used a clarifying shampoo, however I noticed that while shampooing it feels dry of course since it doesn't lather as much and that's okay I can deal with that, but I noticed my hairs came out in the shower and after I came out. I didn't like the fact that I had to track my steps to pick up any hairs behind me:-( It's only my 2nd wash so I'll see how it goes first before I can state any facts. However I do know that when I use it it makes my hair come out/shed a bit more. I'm hoping it doesn't continue as I love the natural ingredients in the shampoo. I'll come back and update again.

This shampoo has become my favorite. I own many Tree to tub products because I love using them, and recently they introduced this one, which is a biotin and collagen shampoo. As soon as I tried it, I loved the scent that it has. Really refreshing scent. And it has good feel when I apply it, afterwards it leaves my hair nice and smooth, and I can just feel the volumizing effect. I really like Tree to Tub because their products all use natural ingredients so I know I don't put harmful chemicals into my body. After using this shampoo for a while, it has made my scalp feeling refreshed and hair feeling smooth with volume. Highly recommend this. This shampoo has also made a difference in how my scalp feels throughout the day. It used to feel kind of itchy and after using this, the itchiness went away. Give it a try and you won’t regret it. I combine this with Tree to Tub conditioner and it makes it even better. On top of all this, I really love the company. It has great customer service, views all their customers as very valueable clients, and the company stands behind all of its products, made with care and quality.

I love the shampoo! It has helped in regrowth of my hair and makes it soft and shiney. I have my friend a bottle of the shampoo and a bottle of the conditioner. She is trying it to help with regrowth of her own hair. So far she says she likes it, but, is not seeing a difference in the thickness of her hair. Hopefully it will "kick in" soon!I love the fact that after using ONE time, my head does not itch! No matter what I have used in the past, no matter how long I rinsed my hair, my head would always itch. The first time I used the shampoo, my head did not itch. This was very impressive to me! Continuing to use it and still have no itching. THANK YOU for a product that works for me!! Definitely recommend! Hair thickening, growing and scalp moisturizing. Refreshing. Really makes my hair soft, helps to stimulate it to grow, and helps with dandruff. I like to have the Peppermint shampoo and conditioner for morning showers. Helps to wake me up!! I love to have the Lavender shampoo and conditioner for evening showers. Helps me relax and wind down after a hectic day!! I found these products when I was losing hair and my hair had stopped growing. In less than 1 year, my hair has thickened slightly, and grown 4 inches! I LOVE these products!!!!

I CANT BELIEVE IT. A natural product that works?! I thought I would give it a try - but I didn't think it would actually work! So I heard about this product from a friend who had purchased some of their stuff in the past. I have tried all sorts of products and was obviously skeptical. I tried the product and immediately I was pleased by the smell and how gentle it felt. The smooth rich lather did not leave my scalp dry and actually felt great to use. I did not really have high expectations but after a week or two I noticed my hair was standing up taller and stronger... i thought to myself - weird! After three weeks i was blown away. This stuff WORKS!!! I HIGHLY recommend it and my hair is coming back thicker and fuller than ever before. Give it a try - it might work for you too!

I have been using this shampoo now for over a week and love the scent of it. It is fresh and light. It works well in my hair and gentle on my scalp. My hair is long and extremely fine. It gets oily quickly and I struggle to find a shampoo that works well. This is a great product to add to my hair care regiment. I use it twice a week and it helps remove buildup and seems to be making my hair stronger, healthier and have less breakage.

I liked how this shampoo has made my hair felt smoother and healthier. At first, I was using a lot and it seems to dry my hair out then I learnt that you have to use less for it to be effective. It does not lather that much but even so it cleanses without you knowing it. You just have to trust it's cleansing power. More lather does not equal to more effective cleaning. That's what I learned of this shampoo. Less is more!

A little goes a longgg way (one pump does the trick for me as I have short hair). Foams easily and my scalp feels clean after every use. A tad on the pricey side, true, but the quality is definitely there. Update: on my second order, the soapberry sample was not included. I contacted Amazon customer service but they are not the most helpful of people.

My hair/scalp gets oily pretty quick which sometimes leads to an itchy scalp even after washing with some shampoos. I really like this shampoo because it does a good job at adding volume to my hair but also helps keep the itch away without making my scalp feel super dry.
