So far, so good!
They started out slowly but that was expected due to soil conditions. After the application of several soil amendments they took off and are rapidly growing. It's too early for them to bloom and produce pods but I am confident that they will perform satisfactorily. Edit:It's May 23rd, 2026. Yesterday I had my first bloom! One thing I can say about winged beans is you have to be patient. They start out slowly. I planted them on the same day as some blue lake green beans which I have been harvesting for about six weeks already. Almost 5 months and they are just starting to bloom. This is fine with me as I am in Hawaii and they are perennial in this climate. I don't think they would be suitable for a colder climate with a short season.

10 out of 15 seeds germinated
There are combination of good seeds and bad seeds. I followed their instruction to cut little bit of the seeds that don't sprout and put in the water again, it help little bit. I had 10 out of 15 seeds germinated so it is not too bad quality. I would buy it again.

Did not Germinate
The 1 star is because the seeds did not sprout. I would not buy them again. I did have other plants sprout and grow without issue in the same garden bed.

get two packages as there a not a lot of seeds, but germination is decent
germination rate was perhaps 60-70%. they are a bit slow to grow, seemed like for a week, then they start to move. they are up and if the deer don't eat them, i expect a decent a good harvest
