Keep Your Original Handle, You May Need a Part!
When I first tried to put on my new handle it seemed like it needed to be "stretched" in order to fit. Upon inspection, I noticed that the insert was different from the original. Picture 1: The arch on the insert on the new handle. Picture 2: Where the screw needs to go. My original handle insert was a "groove" and not an "arch". I decided to swap out the piece from my original handle and Viola! it fits perfectly! Moral of the story is: Keep your original handle AND screws until the new handle is properly in place. You may need to use that insert. UPDATE: Upon further inspection of the two inserts, my old one is in a "U" shape while the new one is in an "arch" shape. To put on the handles all you have to do is follow the way your insert goes. So you either come down into the groove for the arch shape or pull it up into the groove for the U shape.
