ProSense Pro-Sense Regular Strength Glucosamine Tablets for Dogs, 60 ct

My twelve year old Corgi started being slower on his morning walks and moved with visible stiffness and pain when getting up. He was already on carprofen for basic dog arthritis, so a veterinarian friend recommended glucosamine on a trial basis as an adjunct. My 35lb dog gets one tab with his morning and evening meals. Apparently, it's tasty to dogs as he gets quite excited when I pull the jar out and chomps it down. Most critically, it had zero gastrointestinal effects and did not affect his stool or make him gassy. Subjectively, I see him moving easier and getting up from frequent naps with fewer grimaces and pained expressions. Objectively, he's completing his every other-day two mile long walk about five minutes faster (per fitness tracker) and his one mile short walk about a two minute faster, so it's not just placebo effect. Finally, the "old man" pained expressions and slight limps have stopped. Definitely worth the under $10/month cost.

I have been giving my dog ProSense Regular Strength Glucosamine tablets for the past few months and have noticed a significant improvement in his mobility. My dog has a tendency to have issues with his knees, especially when the weather gets cold. However, since starting him on these tablets, he has been much more comfortable and able to move around more easily. I have been very pleased with the results and would highly recommend these tablets to other dog owners whose pets struggle with joint pain. The tablets are easy to give and seem to be well-tolerated by my dog. Plus, they are reasonably priced and have helped to improve my dog's quality of life. Overall, I am very happy with the ProSense Regular Strength Glucosamine tablets and will continue to use them to help maintain my dog's joint health.

My little dog developed degenerative disc disease and I wanted to avoid the medicines that have a lot of side effects. This has worked well. She is again walking without a limp and running around like a young pup again. Evidently, the tablet tastes good. She takes it with no problem. And she didn't develop any stomach issues with it. It took about 3 weeks or so to fully take effect but now if I miss a day, she doesn't seem to develop pain right away. Her dose for a 7-pound dog is 1/2 tablet one time a day, so it is fully affordable. I also like that I don't have to keep getting a prescription for it. I would recommend this product as the first item to try. I figured I could always go to something stronger from the vet if necessary, but so far, so good.

Been giving these two my two Chihuahua mixes that are getting middle aged. Earlier this summer my little 5 lb girl seemed stiff and sore. After 4 weeks on these pills she was a brand new dog. All energy and zipping around the house. Like she was a pup. So I started giving it to her older "sister" too. And got the same results. She was acting like an younger dog again! I decided to just make these a regular daily supplement. Which my vet agreed was a great decision. Now I see alot of reviews. Saying their dogs hate the pills. Well of course they do! They are super hard! But if you simply pumice them with your bottle. Crushing them into a fine power. They are easily added to dinner for my pups. At first I mixed the powder with some peanut butter in their food. And then started adding the powder to their food with some water. My girls are always excited for their "special gravy".

My dogs like this so I buy it for them, but it's a bit pricey as compared to other brands. It helps them feel more comfortable and keeps them active in spite of their age, so I can recommend it on that basis.

The product came exactly as described. My pup had joint pain (he is getting older) however consecutively every day I give him his pills, and you can really tell they are helping to some degree. To keep him having some relief I will be giving these to him every day.

Gave this to my dog after one day I heard his hip start to "click". Hes a pretty healthy dog over all, last time he seen a vet they did blood work and said hes healthy as a pup. At the time he was 10, were creeping up on 13, and the clicking in his back hip is gone. Hes not a big dog, and I caught it right away so the regular strength worked just fine. Hes also never had to have any "supplements" on a daily basis. Maybe I just got lucky with no health problems, but I also contribute it to keeping him on pedigree from the time he was a pup and never switching to another brand. Overall, it worked really well for my dog, and if you didnt know he was old you'd think hes still a pup. Highly recommend this for older dogs that are having a hard time getting around

This stuff has been a lifesaver. One of my dogs injured her front paw very badly last year and the vet couldn't guarantee the $4,000 surgery would heal her because the joint was so tiny and in an awkward location. They even mentioned that amputation would probably be our best bet...luckily I listened to my heart and decided to try other options first. I give her two of the advanced strength tabs each night and since she began taking them 8 months ago, she's been using her injured paw much more. Also, my other dogs joints used to pop when walking, so he's been taking one advanced tab per day, and it's completely eliminated the popping. While I'm very displeased with the almost doubled price recently...these are still cheaper than the name brand alternative and work great for various ailments. They're a must have in my home and I recommend to anyone. Not to mention my pups LOVE the flavor! They think they're getting treats.

Was skeptical, because the ones we usually get are almost 45$ .. I have a 14 yr old malamute who was experiencing a lot of pain going up the stairs or walking. I did notice the glucosamine (the expensive one) worked really well at easing the pain for him. Decided to give these ones a try since the price was much better and most reviews were positive. Now re purchased 4 times!! He gets them in his food every morning along with senior wet food mixed in . He won’t eat just by themselves so hiding them in food is perfect !! Can say enough about this company for keeping the price affordable and helping all the senior doggies who need it . THANK YOU 💕💕💕💕💕💕

I HAVE WAITED FOR A MONTH TO POST A REVIEW... ONLY GAVE 4 STARS ON FLAVOR CAUSE MY DOG WILL NOT EAT THEM PLAIN...I HAVE TO HIDE IN HER FOOD, PEANUT BUTTER OR CHEESE...OTHER THAN THAT PAIN IN THE BUTT, THEY REALLY SEEM TO BE WORKING FOR HER...SHE IS 12 YEARS OLD AND VERY STUBBORN LOL SO AT FIRST I COULDNT TELL IF HER JOINTS WERE BUGGING HER OR WAS SHE BEING HER USUAL PRISSY SELF ... I TRIED THE SOFT CHEWABLES FROM THIS COMPANY AND SHE DIDNT SEEM TO MIND THEM BUT THESE ARE MORE ECONOMICAL SO SHE WILL HAVE TO GET USED TO THEM LOL... I CAN SAY THAT WE HAD A COUPLE OF GOOD LAUGHS YESTERDAY AND TODAY OVER HER PLAYING WITH HER STUFFIES....SOMETHING SHE HASNT DONE IN MONTHS...I CAN ONLY ATTRIBUTE THAT TO THESE PILLS... THESE PROBABLY WOULDNT BE TOO ECONOMICAL FOR SOMEONE WITH A BIGGER DOG CAUSE OF THE AMOUNT YOU WOULD HAVE TO GIVE THEM, BUT AT ONE PILL A DAY I RECOMMEND THESE

Unfortunately, my dogs don't like the taste, so I have to break the tablets and mix them into their food. Despite this small inconvenience, the results have been remarkable. After a month of use, my dogs have gone from struggling down the stairs to running up and down with ease. I'm very grateful for this product and its effectiveness.

I’ve been giving this to my dog(Maltese/Shih Tzu mix) for a few years now because she has a bad hip and would limp when walking. I’m not a huge fan of the Vet and their prices. So I’m glad this works. My dog also has a sensitive stomach, but this doesn’t irritate it. The bottle usually lasts 5 months. I’ll give my dog half a tablet once a day, after eating. She seems to love it! Eats it like a treat.

They helped my 15 year old dog with being able to jump up and move around better within a few days! He gets it crushed in his wet food nightly. Definitely recommend and will be buying when I need it replenished.
