Dr Dennis Gross Pro Facial Steamer for Facial Deep Cleaning

I bought this steamer after going through 2 models of a less expensive option (https://www.amazon.com/NanoSteamer-3-Humidifier-Blackheads-Stainless/dp/B01BPKUCRE). My main motivation is sinus steaming, though I also like facial steaming for help with clogged pores. Right out of the box, this steamer is significantly better than the previous option for both sinuses and facial steaming. 1) It takes up significantly less counter space and (in my opinion) has a more appealing design. 2) It takes far less time to get the steam going, which is great for busy morning routines. 3) It produces a much greater quantity of steam at a faster rate, unclogging my sinuses faster and giving a much better facial. Potential down sides: 1) It has a smaller reservoir than the previous model I tried, but I only steam for ~5 minutes, so a smaller reservoir is fine. (Also, I had mold problems in my last model, which I felt was partly caused by having such a large reservoir.) 2) It also doesn't have a towel chamber, but I didn't use that feature before in my previous steamer. 3) It doesn't come with blackhead removal tools or other add-on items. Time will tell on whether it lasts longer, but it does have a much sturdier/well-built feel. Already, it feels like a superior product and I'm glad I spent more to get something significantly better.

This is a replacement for my last Dennis gross steamer and I really loved it. I had it for about 7 years and the inner tank with water cracked on the cap which couldn’t be replaced. I’m not sure if I dropped it in a move or tightened it too tight but separate parts cannot be purchased. Regardless; I happily purchased a replacement because this is the best facial steamer I have ever owned and it worked flawlessly for years upon years. I like the light that comes on when it’s ready and working, I appreciate the amount of steam that comes out, and it’s actually quite adorable on the counter and doesn’t appear to be a low end cheap appliance cluttering up the bathroom sink.

I love this facial humidifier! I chose it based on Amazon reviews and am pleased it exceeded our expectations. It is very easy to use. It is high quality for the price. I use it a few times a week, and after every time my skin feels amazing and my pores are clean. It doesn’t take up too much counterspace and fits easily in my bathroom cabinet. I can’t believe I waited so long to have one of these at home!

Minus one star because of the price. Honestly, I bought a little tiny $30 steamer years ago and this works the same. I asked for this one for Christmas after reading all the rave reviews. Thinking wow this must be so much better than my old steamer. It's not. They're all the same. Save your money.

I happened to catch a segment on GMA-Good Morning America critiquing various products for the upcoming Oscar award show. The Dr. Dennis Gross Pro Facial Steamer was the first product they reviewed. So I thought I would treat myself, order it, and give it a try. I JUST LOVE IT!!! And you don't have to pay a lot to go get a SPA treatment. You can do it in the comfort of your home. Two additional benefits I found were: 1. For those of us that live in a dry environment, it adds humidity to the air inside your home. 2. Boy, did it clear out my sinuses as well!

Do yourself a favor, spa treatment at home. Works beautifully doesn’t spit water. Steady stream of steam, Makes your skin glow.

While I loved this steamer for the few months it lasted, the steam basket cracked almost immediately. The on / off switch also has no light, and doesn't automatically switch off when the water is out, which makes it easy to forget to turn it off. The steam was great at the very beginning, but I am disappointed that I only got a few months out of this expensive product before it broke.

Love this! Use it once a week. I work long hours as a nurse along with switching day shifts and night shifts so my skin can get tired. This treatment once a week hydrates your skin along with a nice oil like rose, Marula or Tamanu oil with two pumps of a hyaluronic acid and it’s perfection. Great add on to your skincare routine.
