I got 75 of them and now I need to find a use for about 50. I'm sure over time I'll find uses. I'm finding the stakes sturdy. They go into the ground nicely and accomplish their goal of holding down irrigation lines. I don't see a con here.

Needed these to hold down some things in the yard. The design is very good but they are not too sturdy . So, if you apply too much pressure they will snap.

I used the stakes to pin a germination blanket over a trench i dug in my yard. After putting topsoil i reseeded the trench. They seem pretty solid and holds the seed germination blanket in place. Only time will tell how long they will biodegrade. But overall a solid product for the price point. I would recommend it for any landscaping project.

Quality product and very strong for being biodegradable. Much stronger then I expected and the design keeps them from pulling out of the ground. Have bought 3 bags in total an will by more when needed.

Used these stakes to secure a grass mat covering new seed on newly spread topsoil. Most of the stakes broke during installation. A standard hammer was used and a rubber mallet. They broke off at about 2" from the top of the stake. A waste of money, but more importantly, a waste of time trying to use them.

I found these to be easy push into different textures of ground, both softer and more hard. None broke in the process although I was careful to apply pressure evenly.

We just tried to use these over the weekend and they let a lot to be desired. We found that hitting them with a hammer is almost laughable. The rectangle heads of the spikes do not coordinate with the round head of a hammer. When you manage to get a hit on them they seem to be so flimsy that they want to bend and hitting them enough times to get them into the ground seems a daunting task at the very least. They want to bend and not go straight into the ground. I guess if your putting them into plain sand this wouldn't be an issue. We used them sparingly because of this limitation. They did arrive very fast thanks to amazon prime but it's they're worth the hassle.

Very good product, the first set of steaks I've found that actually hold my 160' slip n slide down. Im 220 lbs. Jumping down hill and these spikes didnt move had to use pliers to pull them out of the ground. Supper impressed.
