Convenient on-the-go portable storage. Highly recommended.
These SanDisk portable SSDs are life savers for me. I do a lot of photography/videography for a non profit and I am constantly working with files on the fly. Here's why I love them so much:- Good size physically. Fits well in your hand. Not so small you might fumble it.- On the off chance you do fumble it, it is very durable with a soft exterior. I've dropped it a couple of times and have had no issues.- Comfortable and functional grip. The soft exterior makes it even easier to hold and not drop (even though I just said I've dropped it. I'm clumsy)- It's a good storage size for the price.- USB C port is compatible with all of my gear.- File transfer times are quick. Nothing crazy, but definitely not slow.- They actually act great as their own filing system. Easy to store because they are thin, and I can put entire projects on them and easily find later. I don't label them, but if I did (and I should), they have plenty of surface area to label.I have nothing negative to say about it. I've purchased more than one and in different storage sizes. I will likely continue to purchase.

It's a great external SSD
It works great. i store PC games on it. A monitoring app shows it still at 98% life after long term frequent use. It benchmarks above the advertised read write speed. an excellent performing SSD for the price. I would buy another one if I needed more high-speed storage apace.

Great SSD, but the included cord didn’t work for my laptop
The 2TB SSD itself works great—fast, reliable, and exactly what I needed for extra storage. However, the cord that came with it didn’t work with my laptop, so I had to buy a separate adapter to get it up and running. Would’ve been 5 stars if the included cord was more compatible!

Updated, Take 3! Works Perfectly. Small, lightweight. Needs reformatting before using.
My apology to SanDisk and fellow Amazon customers. This little drive works fast and well, but *you must reformat it.*It's my policy/habit to reformat external HDs for Mac. Except... I didn't this time, and failed to realize it.Originally, I wrote that this disk was slow and failed to mount. Then realized it was slow to mount and reeeeeally slow to copy. When I say "slow," imagine 2 days of copying a few hundred GB onto a fairly new computer...and still not finishing. Strange that such a hobbling format would be installed on a modern hard drive. Maybe that format works well with Windows or or Linux.Anyway, it's small, lightweight, (now) quick to mount and really fast. Great for a backup drive that you can take with you.
