Floor Transition Strip for Carpet to Tile, Beige Grey, 10' x 1.97"

Great product that perfectly suited my needs! The edge of the carpet on the border between the stone tile floor of my entryway and the carpeted area of the adjacent hallway was beginning to fray, and unfortunately my dog was trying to eat those fibers. I covered the edge of the carpet with duct tape for a quick fix, but that certainly wasn't aesthetically pleasing or a permanent solution. This carpet trim was just what I needed. Here are a few key points and suggestions: * It looked exactly as described. The color was spot-on, as was the size. * The vinyl seems durable enough for a moderate-traffic area. * While it can be cut with large scissors, shop shears (mine are Fiskars Pro Powerarc) make the job much easier. * Totally get some shop shears. It's an inexpensive piece of kit and super-handy. * Measure twice, cut once! I used a black Sharpie to make my cutting line. * It arrives rolled up, so be sure to roll it in the opposite direction and leave it for about 15-30 minutes to flatten out. * Be sure to use the included primer, but be warned: it doesn't smell very good. Keep pets/kids away while it dries. * I used the edge of a weighted-down box to help ensure I was laying it down in a straight line. * Once it's stuck, it's pretty stuck. * Installation took less than 10 minutes (after it flattened out, of course). * It's very low-profile, and comfortable to step on. * Hasn't shown any signs of coming loose from either the tile or the carpet. Overall, I'm very pleased with the performance and price. Highly recommended.

This transition strip was perfect for my needs. We replaced the flooring in the bathroom in our new house, but not the floor in the hallway. The hall floor leading into the bathroom is cracked and I wanted something to cover it up. The transition is wide enough to do so. It was easy to trim out notches on each end to fit around the door frame. It seems adhered really well. Time will tell how long it will last, but right now I am very happy with the product and glad there are no nails, screws, or fasteners to catch socks on in the transition.

Im giving a Five Star review because for the money this product works well and looks decent when installed. It comes with two packets of adhesive promoter which you apply first, then install the strip 5 minutes later. The adhesive used is extremely sticky, like you would want it to be for this application. Overall, Im very happy with this product - cheap, effective, easy to install, and looks pretty decent when installed.

Terrible color match on my part but this product exceeded my expectations! Our dog ripped our carpet right where it meets the tile and we’d been covering it with a rug. This product sealed the carpet down and covered the staples and carpet nails that were poking out. Our vacuum goes over it with no issues. Cutting it was incredibly easy! The hold it has is very, very strong.

Good product, strong adhesive, nice look. Product has been down for awhile with absolutely no loosening, and still looks nice.

Looks great so far! Super easy to cut to size. Easy to apply. Hopefully it lasts! I will update my review in a few months.

I was a little apprehensive, even with all tje amazing reviews, that this might not handle the job. But this REALLY sticks, and it even held after I accidentally dropped and scooted a sofa over it.

This peel and stick vinyl flooring is seriously impressive. Right out of the box, you can tell it's a high-quality product with a really durable feel to the material. It definitely felt like it would stand up to daily life, which is exactly what you want from flooring, and it honestly exceeded what I was expecting for the price point. It just feels well-made and substantial, totally living up to the 5-star rating I'd give it. Putting this stuff down was surprisingly easy too. It was simple to cut to size for fitting around corners or edges, and applying it was straightforward – just peel and stick, like advertised. The adhesive is incredibly strong, which gives me a lot of confidence that these tiles aren't going anywhere. The colors looked pretty close to what I saw online, which was great, even if not perfectly exact. My only minor gripe was that the adhesive had a bit of a weird smell initially, but honestly, it disappeared completely after a little while, so it wasn't a long-term issue at all. Overall, a fantastic solution for updating a room easily.
