Big rocks, they look good
These look good and are large. Seems like somewhat of a vaule for hard to find larger rocks. Needed two bags to fill a standard fireplace. Couldnt tell how much I needed based on weight alone.

Great. Good for a lot of uses. You can decorate the topsoil of your plants with it and it'll look very nice.

Great lava rock
Rocks were big like I wanted. There are some small stones in there but the large ones were good enough for me. Didn't realize how light the stones that came with my fire pit were. I use two 10 lb bags and when I move my fire pit I can definitely feel the weight difference

Much smaller than advertised
The description is misleading. The largest one I received was less than 4 inches, most were less than 3, and many were the size of marbles. I was going to use them as a retainning wall in a paludarium build but don't want to spend hours gluing them together so I'll use them in a shrimp tank for biofilm and never order from this company again.

Don't recommend at all!!
I've bought a few different brands of black lava rock but I have to say this is the first time I had to wash the rock just to find out its true color and if I had been shipped the wrong ones. They are more of a rust red color than black. Maybe speckled black lava rock would be a more accurate description.

Good stuff
Exactly as shown & described. Some dust in the back due to shipping which is to be expected, gave the bags a quick rinse in the sick & straight into the aquarium they go. Great primary(1st) layer of substrate for your aquariums & good to have for terrariums too! Would buy again if ever needed.

Excellent for drainage potting soil
Excellent size of lava rock to ad drainage to my plant soil. I now make my own soil instead of using orchid soil as there is bark in the orchid soil which attacks gnats. VERY dusty when opening the bag, you should wash the amount you will use upfront. For sure will buy again.
