This kept my 12 and 9 year old quite occupied with a good dose of frustration while they figured it out. There’s a plan in the box to follow too and it didn’t scratch my fridge freezer either. Great purchase!

Bought as a gift for two boys (8y,11y) and they played with it for hours … week later - still spending 1-2h a day changing the layouts/ improving the strategy. Highly recommended! We had kids age range 5y-14y visiting over Christmas and they all loved it

Hours of fun for children and adults. You will need a decent amount of magnetic space on fridge or garage door but this is well worth purchasing

There are a generous number of pieces to make runs but you will need a good sized magnetic surface to attach them. I bought a small foldable white board but as you can see from the picture it’s not big enough. The pieces fit together by pushing and are both delicate and fiddly and need a bit of force. You need to be quite grown up to manage it, it was not for under 3 years but I would guess 8 and likes kits and making things. You need patience getting the spacing right so when the marble rolls it has a clear path, it means you end up moving sections and then they fall apart. Having said that, it’s a great toy and I enjoyed my test run.

It is a toy, and I'm an engineer, probably I was expecting too much of it based on other reviews. The magnets are the weakness here, they are simply not strong enough. I had to supplement them with fridge magnets to enable reliable operation. The static elements that receive no shock loading are fine. However, when a marble drops onto an element, even a very short distance onto any track, or rotating, or other element, the element will move a small amount each time. without extra support. Fine, if this is to be used as a toy, but with this shortcoming, it is not possible to obtain repeatability over more than a few circuits due to the elements moving around. The fact that this comes with a lift, means that the elements need to remain where placed in order to provide cyclic operation. The marbles are also a weakness, none are spherical, just watch them as they roll! they are very poorly made and would be best, substituted for better ones. Overall, a great toy for a child, but not a gift for an engineer with expectations of repeatability.

This item is great for the imagination. Hours of fun spent building different tracks and watching the marble roll..... Great gift at a reasonable price.

If you are favouring industrial style in your interior and if you are partial to steam punk aesthetic, look no further - this toy will be a cherry on the top of your grown-up demands. As per the quality of the toy - WOWZA! This one is amazing! If you have a fridge door or a dishwasher door to spare (well, actually, it will still be fully functional but you will have some beautiful decorum to go with the functionality), this toy is a marvel! It can be placed and re-constructed and since it's all working on magnets it is so easy to do. And here comes a warning - keep those pesky pets away to ensure the toy does not get destroyed, which would be upsetting for your child. Also, keep the babies away from it as it is not fair on the older child to have spent all the time designing and measuring the distance of this arrangement to see a younger one ruining it. It is a gorgeous and entertaining toy that could be enjoyed by an older (5+) child and the parents. But this is not a toy to share with younger siblings as you don't want to upset the littles either by prohibiting touching it. And, which is more, this toy is truly educational - the movement, measuring the distance between one part and the other in order for it to work smoothly. As per the video - this is the most boring design. And it already looks smashing. Imagine what it is like with the more intricate ones!

He spent hours playing with this thing. Magnet strength is tough. The sturdiness is a little on the bad side bc it is plastic material. It’s easy to set up and play with. The value for money seems too expensive for me but it did last long. It’s pretty big. Lots of things to make with it

Occore uno spazio magnetico grande per poter sfruttare a pieno le potenzialità del gioco,noi abbiamo usato la porta d'ingresso,ma veramente ben fatto. Ai bambini e a me è piaciuto molto,non semplicissimo da assemblare,ma ne vale la pena.

Este juego es impresionante. Mis hijos de 14 y 11 no paran de inventar nuevos circuitos, pueden estar horas...súper creativo, les hace pensar, dedicar atención plena y que ellos dirijan el proyecto que han diseñado, una joya que encandila a todos. Nosotros cogimos una pizarra magnética aparte y así pueden hacer los circuitos durante horas sin ocupar la nevera.

Dommage car manque de puissance dans les aimants. Le circuit bouge au passage de la bille... sinon très sympa et prend peu de place 😁
