This stuff works really well. It's super adhesive and while it doesn't make it pretty, it definitely makes your screen cleaner-looking. Yes, you absolutely should put the tape on both sides of the screen. The adhesive is very, very sticky and if you place them so they are facing each other, the gooey adhesive will merge together and provide you with that much more stability, even with "dusty" screens (although. It's easy to cut and apply. You might end up with some adhesive on your fingers but it's easy to peel off.I bought this because I have a cat who thinks screens are cat-optional for access to the backyard. This tape definitely deterred him for a couple of weeks. But then he realized he can just slowly claw away at it and remove the tape. And claw away he did. Almost all of the tape that I put up on the inside has been removed (I doubled up on the outside and he even somehow was able to claw that out. I've tried to periodically replace what he has torn off but I ran out of tape. That said, if you don't have a cat who is hell-bent on getting out, screens be damned, then this tape works very well for minor and even major patches. My cat managed to entirely separate the screen from the edges and I used this tape to repair the huge hole he clawed through and it did so pretty quickly and easily. Even though this tape is very cheap and affordable, I think I'm going to apply the money towards re-screening the screen (there's an awesome cat-proof heavy duty screen out there on Amazonland - some guy posted his cat actually trying to claw open the screen to no avail).Bottom line, this is great if you don't want to have to completely re-screen your door. But if you have animals with zero f's given like I do, then I'd probably try another approach.

This Secopad screen repair tape really came through for me. I had an aged rip in my porch mesh that was letting in every bug imaginable, and this roll let me DIY the fix without replacing the entire screen. It performed marvelously once applied.Application was straightforward, but I’d recommend anyone follow the classic measure twice, cut once approach and apply it when wind isn’t working against you. The adhesive grabs well, the fiberglass mesh blends in nicely, and the patch sealed the tear cleanly enough to make the outdoor space comfortable again.The roll length is generous—after repairing my rip, I still have the majority left for future fixes. For a simple, strong, no‑nonsense repair solution, this tape delivers exactly what it promises.

This was very easy to use, I cut up the section and patched up the screen. The glue its strong so it hold well so far and it blends in with the screen its not too visible. It's a very affordable option rather than have to replace the screen, perfect for small tears.

This worked so well for the fist side hole we had in our screened in porch. Sharing a photo and video with this review. If anything the application we did with it could have been better but the product itself is amazing. We had a terrible high wind storm come through back in early summer. An umbrella we had open, it was broken and wouldn’t close, swung and punctured the hole into our screen. It was going to cost about $100 for someone to come out and re-screen that section. This was much more affordable, super easy to use, very sticky and you can’t really see it unless you’re looking for it. We did double side it out of caution as we didn’t know what we were doing but don’t feel the appearance looks bad.

This was perfect - it helped us fix a small hole in our screened-in porch. Simply cut to size, peel to reveal the sticky side, & place and patch your hole.

This repair tape worked great! It was easy to apply, has a strong adhesive, and blends in well with the screen. It saved me from having to replace the entire screen and has held up really well. Definitely recommend!

Génial! J'avais une déchirure de plus de 60cm dans le filet souple de mon gazebo ( Sojag ). Au crochet d'ancrage à la mi-hauteur du poteau de coin, les vents fort du nord se sont déchainés. Emploi facile, surtout qu'on a pas à se battre pour décoller la pellicule du côté collant. Je n'ai appliqué le ruban que d'un seul coté pour tester. C'est certain que c'est très visible mais fonctionnel et beaucoup moins couteux qu'un filet neuf.

Very good. It is black and our screen is grey so you can see it more. It is VERY sticky and works well. Easy to cut, peel the backing off and use. Highly recommended
