Great for storage containers, wrapping around butter when opened, You can reuse use these too. I don’t use cling film anymore which is great.

These aren't as robust as ones I've bought in the past, but you get more of them in a pack for your money.

These handy covers are made of clear polythene and three colours of elastic; red, blue and yellow in a pack of a hundred for just under a fiver; pretty good! They're plentiful and practical though a bit thin and can be used to cover food in or out of the fridge. They keep cut (not sliced) peppers quite well for 2 or 3 days in the fridge and help stop transferring flavours. Be careful not to over stretch the covers as the elastic can detach; also, despite considered disposable, they are washable if you're careful; I'm a recycling nut so I've washed and reused a few two or three times so far. At first I found them awkward to open without tearing the elastic off but once you get the knack, you're away. Gently pull the ends of a cover with your fingertips to give a little stretch which loosens the elastic a bit and then move your fingers open to the middle to open carefully. After a little experimentation, this works best for me. I'll definitely buy them again when necessary.
