I like this knife. It's literally a scalpel blade, so it's extremely sharp. It feels well made; all metal construction. It's listed as a keychain knife, which is why it comes with a ring so you can attach it to your key ring, but I would have rated it 5 stars if it also included a belt clip, because at 3 inches closed, it's a bit cumbersome to carry with my keys. I've read other reviewer stating that it's a little stiff to open, and I found that to be the case as well. I suppose you don't want a scalpel to be loose enough to open accidentally. Although, it will likely loosen up a little over time. It's nice that it comes with 10 replacement blades, but when those run out you can buy a box of 100 blades for about $10; just search Amazon for #24 scalpel blades.

I like the size and the fold ability. It was not spring loaded or easy to open and close, which could be by design. I would hate to have it open in my pocket. I still found it a little tight to open. The design is great and it’s sturdy enough to take some keychain bashing. Replaceable blades ensure it’s always sharp. The blades are so cheap. I bought three and I’m giving two as stocking stuffers for Christmas. My brother works for a pharmacy and this should come in handy.

Stays open when you need it to, stays closed when not in use. Blades are easy to change. Feels like quality while holding it, not too thin or flimsy. This lives on my keychain!

For low price of nine bucks, not too bad. I used a food grade silicone lubricant for ball bearings and spring bar. Autocalaved to make a sterile scalpel handle with blade on it. Lubricant staid on, and it didn't rust anywhere! Can add to medical kit. Also tried #25 blade, works good, had to jiggle blade to get it to lay flat. Scalpel bladed knives are good learning knives for kids. Can give them with no blade on. And when they handle it well, can give dulled blade, then later real blade on it.

This is my first folding scalpel handle, and I got it to use it as a compact utility knife, but it immediately became the tool I want to use for everything. It feels nice to hold, its fun (and easy) to open, and when it gets dull, you can just switch the blade for a new one. It would be cooler if the blade locked, but I honestly cant think of a use-case where it would be an issue. Overall a rad little utility knife, thats worth way more than the price.

I like this design folding knife with a sharp blade that can be replaced when dull or damaged. I had this knife in my pocket for a week on a short lanyard. Turned out that one of the small screws worked loose - it shouldn't - fortunately it was still at the bottom of my pocket. Putting it back is problematic - it is a loose fit and I don't own a mini star drive screwdriver for tightening - though that probably would not do any good anyway. This does not spoil the utility of the knife but it takes away some of the satisfaction in owning this tool.
