Pro Chest Strap - Heart Rate Monitor Belt

Decent chest strap, nice tight fittings for the monitor. It is comfortable to wear and with regular cleaning (in the shower, not washing machine) has worked faultlessly (Dec 2025) since its first use (March 2025). Double check the size, they tend to be on the small side.

Comfortable and easy to wash. Move the buckle so you can reach it easy when tired after workout. They come in different sizes and colours. Its hard to see how it could be improved.

Comfort fabulous - fits well, no seams or raised areas to chafe. No irritation from plastics used. Clasp is excellent. Easy to use and secure Hr measurement reliability in use is great. It is consumable / textile - so lasts in proportion to use and care... Wash in accordance to instructions, as harsh washes accelerate wear. Pull the H10 off with care so poppers stay bonded. These will help extend life. I do wish polar would look into durability - other straps do last much longer (although don't read as reliably or fit so easily and comfortably)..

I bought this strap to replace the strap from my Garmin HRM run. The module from my Garmin fits into this strap fine (see first two photos). The space between the 2 metal connectors must be ever so slightly smaller on the garmin as the polar belt has a very tiny kink in it which can be seen in the second photo. This has absolutely no impact on its effectiveness and can’t be felt at all while wearing it. The problem I had with the Garmin strap is that it would show a very high heart rate between the 2-3 and 9-10 minute mark and then drop down to a normal reading. It would also suffer from spikes in heart rate that were far higher than my max heart rate. You can see these on the third photo. With the Polar strap I’ve had none of these issues. Consistent heart rate readings the increase and decrease as expected with me perceived effort. I’m about 10 runs in now and it’s been rock solid throughout. Can’t complain.

A bit pricey but works well, hopefully will last as long as old strap. None of the cheaper alternative use the same clasp which makes this strap easy to put one and take off.

This Polar Pro chest strap is currently working well with my Polar H10 Heart Rate transmitter. I bought the previous Polar chest strap several years ago along with the H10 transmitter unit but it had now worn out and was badly cracked in the area of the press studs used to attach the H10 unit. The new Polar Pro strap is a perfect replacement and I am very pleased with it.

Good contact and hence gives real readings of heart rate.

Industry standard but needs a phone app to get any real value out if it as the Polar apps are poor. For example ECG Analysis.

Sehr angenehm zu tragen und liefert mit dem H10 sehr genaue Daten. Habe ich als Ersatz bestellt, da der "Original" - Gurt nach 4 Jahren intensiver Nutzung dann aufgegeben hat. Lebensdauer geht absolut in Ordnung bei etwa 3-4 Einheiten je 60-90min in der Woche. Leider habe ich fälschlicherweise den Soft-Gurt bekommen, ging also zurück. Die Bewertung passt natürlich trotzdem, da ich den Gurt ja 4 Jahre nutzen konnte :) Wird also nochmal nachbestellt.
