Multi-Generational Trivia Party Game for Adults, Teens & Families

This game has become a "hit" at several gatherings. We took it on a camp out; we've played it at a family gathering; we played it in the car on a roadtrip; it ended up becoming the centerpiece activity of a mixed-age party. We have never actually read the rules, or at least we don't follow them exactly; the way that we play is (1) each player is given 1 card from each generation, (2) We begin with Silent Generation and one-by-one we read our question, (3) everyone else says/shouts the answer, (4) the first to say the answer wins the card, (5) play continues around the table, (6) then we move on to the Boomer questions, etc.... Whoever gets ONE of EACH card first, wins the game. My husband (a trivia genious) often has many cards (consistently more than anyone else at the table), but he often loses because he is unable to answer any questions from the Millenial deck (this brings quite a bit of fun and laughter to the table!). The game has been such a big hit that we have gifted 3 games to various people who have played with us and our daughter borrowed our set to bring to her in-laws' holiday party (who, in turn, immediately bought their own copy from Amazon AS THEY WERE PLAYING!).

This game has been a blast. We take it to gatherings and play at home. Definitely getting our use out of it. Great to play in groups, and fun for multiple generations. You’ll remember what you forgot, and forget what you were sure you remembered.

The Early Works GENSMAK! Party Game is undoubtedly easy to play and promises great entertainment for players of all generations. The game's simplicity in terms of rules and mechanics ensures that everyone can join in on the fun without any steep learning curve. It's a fantastic choice for family gatherings or mixed-age group events. However, there was one notable issue that my group had with the game's trivia questions. They tend to swing between two extremes: either they're incredibly easy, bordering on common knowledge, or they become excessively difficult and obscure, leaving players frustrated. This inconsistency can be a bit frustrating as it can lead to uneven gameplay experiences. Striking a better balance in question difficulty would greatly enhance the overall enjoyment of the game. Despite this drawback, GENSMAK! remains an excellent choice for family fun and intergenerational bonding, offering moments of laughter and friendly competition that transcend age boundaries.

My friends and I love to play this game to see how much we remember about each generation. This game goes from "The Greatest" generation to "Gen Z" generation. So much fun!!! Lots of "I didn't know that" & "I knew that but forgot" lol Get yours today to begin the fun.

Fun game to play with many different age groups together

I bought this a few months ago with the intention of playing with my family and finally got the chance over Thanksgiving. Super fun game with trivia that ranges from obscure facts to face palm inducing ease. The bonus card rules make the game go pretty quickly. We were able to play 3 rounds for each of two nights and still haven't made it through all of the cards.

We played with our family from 4 different generations and it’s great and inclusive. The hints makes the answers easier to get which makes the game more fun for all ages.

The game packaging was dirty and with little dents on the sides, even though it was previously sealed with plastic. Disappointed.
