SZHLUX Hammock with Stand for Outside

I've been wanting a hammock on my back porch forever. Since I've purchased this, I've used it every day. I've read so many books and taken so many naps. I have a pillow and a blanket in the hammock that have basically taken up residence. It comes with a carrying case and it's kind of touted as a travel stand, but there's no way that I would want to pack it up and take it places. It's easy to set up, but the more you take it down/set it up, the more wear there will be on the parts (and that's scary to me). It also seems too cumbersome. Just get a travel hammock and find some trees. On my hammock, the wooden part was different than others in the review. As you can see in the picture, the rope was already threaded through the wood spreaders, and there's no way to take them off. I'm a heavier gal (225) so I was a little concerned about the dip of the hammock. I still have plenty of room to adjust the hooks as it stretches out. LOVE THIS PURCHASE.

This is sturdy, comfortable and feels like being cradled in a cloud. First time using a hammock. I slept in it in my room and it helped the aches and pains I was having. I wasn’t planning on sleeping in it, but it was so comfortable. It’s big enough. I am 5’6. Still had room. You can put it high or down low, I like the different settings.

I specifically looked for a hammock with the spreader bars and landed on this one because it's neutral colors that go with our aesthetic. Turns out the spreader bars are my one complaint. Since they are designed with the slot to insert the ropes on the bottom, they don't stay in. At all. The ropes fall out immediately, so it's completely useless. Other than that, we've been using it for about a month now and it's great. We do leave it outside, so it gets rain and sun and it doesn't appear to be fading or anything. The stand itself seems super sturdy and was easy peasy to assemble. Very happy with the purchase.
