A great addition for your back yard
I really like this little fire pit. It's easy to start, maintain, and it puts off a lot of heat if you get the diffuser. The kids love roasting marshmallows, and it helps set the mood when I'm barbecuing for date night. I primarily use wood pellets and isopropyl alcohol to start it, and keep a bin of pellets and a metal spoon to keep it going as needed. If you fill it up to the top, it goes for about 40 minutes. I have learned the hard way that you need to empty it after every use. If the holes on the bottom are covered, the fire will be starved for oxygen, and it will not function well. If you just do that one thing, you have a relatively smokeless fire with unique flames due to its design. It's small, convenient, and well-made. I highly recommend.

Perfect for Cozy Outdoor Nights!
I got the Solo Stove Mesa XL for my husband, and it’s been an absolute game changer for our outdoor space! This smokeless fire pit is perfect for intimate gatherings or just enjoying a quiet evening outside. It’s compact, yet powerful, and the stainless steel build feels very durable and high quality. We’ve used it for a few outdoor sessions already, and it’s been amazing. The flames are mesmerizing, and it keeps the area warm without all the smoke you usually get with traditional fire pits. It’s also super easy to set up and clean. We love the 7-inch tabletop design, which makes it easy to place on our patio or even take on camping trips. If you’re looking for a stylish, portable fire pit that provides warmth without the smoke, this is the one! My husband is thrilled with it, and we’ve been enjoying it every chance we get.

Micro fire at its finest!
I’ve been curious about the solo stove fire places for a while. Came across this little bugger recently and had to try it out. I have always loved having fires on my deck but the larger fire rings have always seemed a little sketchy. With this little guy, you get the ambiance, entertainment factor, and marshmallow cooking ability of a larger fire pit but in a safer little package. Kinda crazy you can travel around with a little fire pit like this in your backpack too! I have only used this with regular wood, haven’t tried pellets yet. I have a bunch of dried oak that I split up into like 4-6 inch small chunks and they burn awesome. I feel the design of the solo stoves gives the fire a really good intake on the bottom which gets the fire going fast and keeps it going. Anyways, I could go more in depth I don’t want to ramble on. Overall I would definitely recommend this little thing, awesome for a tabletop fireplace. The Mesa is small so you could go with the slightly larger Mesa if you want a little more heat. I recently ordered the heat deflector for it to try out as well, so that is an option if you’re looking for more warmth. Hope this helped!

Cool little fire pit.
Super fun to use. Very small, you are able to use this in your backyard or pack it for camping/hiking. I average a burn time of 1 -1.5 hours using pellets. Fun to use and produces almost no smoke.

Updated review. Very cool but love/hate relationship
This tabletop mini fire pit is really cool. But it reminds me of the best and worst aspects of when we had a large portable fire pit on our patio. We now have a large propane fire pit that doesn’t crackle or smell like a campfire but it requires no attention. On one hand you can’t beat the smell and crackle sound of a wood burning fire that you get with this fire pit. But like the large wood fire pit, it needs a lot of attention. Whereas, a larger wood burning fire pit requires attention, you have 30 minutes after stirring the fire and adding wood before you need to do it again. With this mini fire pit it’s more like every 10 minutes. We have found that for best results, you need to place 2 charcoal briquettes next to a fire starter and making a teepee of skinny dry apple sticks over it. You can get those on Amazon under rabbit food. Once hot, we added fat wood dry kilned starter oak strips to jeep it burning. But you may want to cut those in half to fit in the pit without spilling over. Despite this, you will need to fan the embers occasionally to ignite the newly added wood. We bought a battery operated grill blower. Overall, it’s really cool but needs attention to keep it going. It’s a labor of love like burning a wood fire in a pit or fireplace. Ps- it’s really tiny. Get the bigger size as it’s only something like an inch bigger in diameter but hopefully lets more air in. New comments. We bought Traegar pellets using a basic fire starter and had much better results. Very cool flame and no smoke. I’ve changed my review from 3 to 4 stars. I may change it to 5 in the future as we continue to learn how to stoke and maintain the fire.

Great design!
I opted to use both pellets and mini logs to get it started with a squirt bottle of 91% rubbing alcohol ready as an accelerant or re-ignition as needed (if done correctly, you will not need the alcohol often). First, line bottom with 3-4 handfuls of pellets, then 3 mini logs laying down in parallel. Ignite. Once unit is hot and a thin bed of coals are present, adding fuel and fuel ignition should be easy. Try not to add fuel when not sufficiently hot enough to ignite, otherwise there will be smoke! Do not over fill! Do not block air holes! Unit is somewhat hungry for fuel and attention (I personally do not mind since I see it as “caveman TV ;)), but understandable for its size and efficiency. Using both fuels allows for more control in flame size and burn time. Overall excellent product and design!! Planning on getting other products from company!! Side note: heat diverter may smoke until properly seasoned. Disclaimer: Do not place in enclosed porch unless properly vented for smoke and heat. Also have fire safety and precautions ready in case of incidents. ENJOY!

Love this thing. Without getting my HOA all worked up.
I live in a condo, the Solo gives me a great vibe on my patio. Easy to build a fire & burns the wood so clean that there’s very little ash to deal with, also cools down fast so you can put it away quickly when you’re done. I love it! I use the packed firewood from the convenience store & split it & cut into 1/3 rds to fit. I picked up a little table at Dollar Tree for $7.

Great little tabletop fire pit.

Built to last
Excellent, great fun and by far the best way to cook a marshmallow. Tried with pellets and dried hardwood. Both work fine, I prefer the flame and heat from hardwood. Doesn't kick out as much heat as a full size fire pit but it's not bad and it's nice to sit close to with a glass of wine or a beer.

Mycket bra!

Cela a fumé a peine 2 minutes.

Love it!
It has been a fantastic addition to my outdoor setup. It’s the perfect size for a tabletop, compact, easy to light, and gives off a cozy flame without the smoke. The build quality is excellent, and it looks great as a centerpiece during evening hangouts. I’ve used it with both pellets and small wood pieces, and it burns clean every time.

Atmosfera
Molto carino , si può usare con legnetti o pellet. La versione piccola è più scenografica che effetto stufa , possibilità di cuocere al massimo dei marsh mallows.
