Great backpack at a great price
Because this didn't cost much I didn't expect much but it is wonderful and my full time travel backpack. There is plenty of room and plenty of different areas to put stuff with zippers. The straps are padded and the back is also as that is where the laptop goes. It is also a nice size for me as I am short and my old backpack (I still love it for the anti theft features) was so big on me. I have taken it on several trips and it shows no wear.

2nd Purchase in 3 years
We bought this three years ago for our ELDEST. A boy rough and tumble teenager carried it through Middle School with 20 pounds of weight and a stainless steel water bottle it survived three years of being tossed around. He refuses to have any other book bag I bought him a namebrand and he will not use it because of how many pockets and the secret pocket That’s in the back to protect his phone. So we recently upgraded by buying the same exact thing but it seems to be better than the one that we had he said the zippers are different longer whatever that maybe he is on the spectrum so he notices small differences. And he was willing to change colors instead of gray we got black. When the bag came in I was sick and he made his book bag switch over which is a really big deal that’s how much he wanted to use it the only problem we had with his old book back is he got the mesh part caught on something and ripped it where his stainless steel water bottle went and that hole grew bigger. It never completely bottomed out but I didn’t want my son walking around with a beat up book bag that was three years old as a freshman in high school after purchasing a namebrand he doesn’t care about brands I just wanted him to fit in. I wasted my money on name that namebrand did not have all the features this one did especially that pocket which now I believe every book bag should have because my daughter does not have one and we’ve had issues with phones being stolen at school. They cannot put it in the outer pockets somebody will steal it or steal something out of their bag so important things need to be put in that hidden pocket that is up against the users back. It holds my son‘s laptop/Chromebook and every there are no lockers so everything he has for school is in that bag. Considering the last one was still usable it still is it’s just I would prefer a nicer cleaner look the gray I could’ve cleaned it yes but the black looks sleeker and they have seemed to have made improvement or the black it’s just different than the gray I don’t know. I am just this is a 10 out of a 10 recommendation. When you’ve got very very picky children where you have to buy multiples of everything if they like something he wears the same pair of pants to school every day they don’t care that it’s the same pair so you buy multiples. So I’m going to probably buy more of these book bags to get him through high school college and he wants an emergency book bag. Bag. As a family emergency plan every human has a book bag/bag it’s tactical to carry lifesaving emergency items. And we’re ahead of the game because his old book bag is still usable besides one mesh pocket the newer version that I’m reviewing right now I will say the pocket seems to be deeper than mesh pocket that is on the side that his water bottle goes in it seems to be larger than the last one it’s the same water bottle that he’s had For two school years in a row and it fits much tighter snugger and deeper.I used to feel like his water bottle was going to fall out it never did but the way it looked it made me feel that way as a neurodivergent person I hope other neurodivergent person can appreciate this review and the type of detailing I’m giving. And I am happy to come back with a video comparing the two. We did go with the larger size I wasn’t sure what I ordered a couple years ago size wise. I went to my orders I clicked on the book bag and there is options and I’m like what size did I order took the measuring tape and it said it was at least 17 inches so I knew he needed the 17 inch one. at pictures when trying to purchase is confusing when you click sizes if you click on the 15 inch some of the pictures are still the same as the 17 inch. So that is difficult to understand we do have the 17 inch I recommend that over the 15 inch. Yes it does cost more money but you get so much more with the few extra dollars. The shoulder straps are comfortable. They have never broken. At one point when we first got his original bag the doctor had to write a note due to his traumatic brain injury he has some health or physical conditions with his lungs and his book bag could not weigh more than 17 pounds. He was starting to have a hunch back bad posture and pain . Because there are no more lockers that’s not a thing where we live. But since then he’s grown seven in the year of 2023. I still feel like he shouldn’t be caring 20 pounds but it is helping build strength and his posture is much better with this book bag keeping his shoulders back . I do these reviews because that’s how I purchase items how I make decisions are based on reviews. My son is almost the same height as me I’m 5 foot 11. He is high-level now so I would say he’s 59 to 510 he’s about 100 pounds This book bag suits him wonderfully it is a book bag that I will be purchasing for myself. I don’t know the specs in terms of waterproof or anything like that. He does like the ability to put a charger in it a power bank. Each pocket has a specific purpose. And it didn’t change too much The outside pockets that are exposed are still well placed and in a way hidden. Still not a place to put a phone. Phones his does not go in his pocket most children I know use them in their pockets. Their school allows them to have phones. My son feels that he could be pickpocketed . So that zipper is a game changer. I have seen dupes of this book bag and they do not have that zipper it looks like it in the picture but it’s a mesh airflow there is no zipper there do not fall for the dupes I almost dead I almost purchased the wrong bag that’s why I always go back to my original order to re-order from. I favorite things. Unfortunately sometimes those things are no longer there we got lucky with this book bag. Now we have a namebrand from when I was in school that sort of useless it does not have the features nowhere near the features this book has for computer/tablet or laptop. Don’t waste your money on Jan sports. But again my kid does not care about brands I order the same shoe and the next size and have been for years I ordered the same pants and a different size and he wears them every single day he has the same pair of pants. with a genius IQ 4.925 GPA going for engineering a believes this is the best book bag well-made book bag there is. I am not as smart as my child just super neurodivergent spicy uses talk to text this review is for other neurodivergent people. I know I make very long posts or reviews. Too much to read. Details matter. For the people that will not read it this review is not for them for the people that need to know little details this is for you. And I will be back with pictures and videos highlighting the features that we like the most. I mean the user of the book bag. I will be the one highlighting them as he does not consent to being on camera. I will do my best to reinterpret his explanations of the features. Everything above was my experience as a parent a neurodivergent parent purchasing for a neurodivergent child !

built well. holds a lot.
sturdy. durable material. well constructed. lots of pockets. There is even a pocket on the lower part of the pad that touches your back. padded section for electronics. Cord to hook up phone charging battery pack. We fit two 1/2" and one 1-1/2" binder in there plus a full pencil pouch and other stuff. So far so good.

Spacious and a good deal, with a few caveats
For the price, this is a good backpack. Lots of room and different sized pockets for things. I can fit a LOT in here. There are some downsides though. After 3 semesters of hard use, the side mesh pockets were stretched out and the bottom of the bag had hole ripped in the outer layer. I sewed the pockets tighter and it was still usable. The mesh where it sits on my back is pilling now after 5 semesters of use and I want to get a new backpack now, it’s looking too worn for my tastes. Not too bad for the price! I will say the mesh water bottle pockets are on the shorter side and taller/bigger water bottle will fall out frequently. Definitely didn’t work for my 30oz Owala. But my 18oz Yeti was fine. If you just wanna use it for a year or two, this is a great choice!

This backpack has been with me for the long run!!
I originally purchased this backpack when I started college. A year later my dog chewed it up so I had to buy another one.I really enjoy this backpack since there are so many organized pockets and well thought out features- such as zippers you can add your own locks to, a hidden pocket on the back of the bag, and even a detachable keychain you can put on your keys. I could fit everything I needed to spend a whole day on campus (I commuted daily).Years later, I am still using this backpack, so it is most definitely durable. This bag has been through so much and still works like a charm. I’ve found a way to use every pocket it provides and cannot recommend this backpack enough. It helped me get my degree and now come with me with work everyday, even 6 years later. Best $20(ish) purchase I have ever made!!

Fits my computer, controllers, plugs, etc., with ease.
Excellent bag for computers. I used it on my recent 3 plane trips and it worked great. What I like the most is not feeling the computer on my back because of the padding. It is not a heavy bag, but still built with a lot of protective cushion. There are 4 main compartments with lots of several compartments, even some mesh so you can see thru them for stuff. The stitching is strong and will not fall apart at the seems. Excellent quality workmanship. It is a bag suitable for kids or adults. I am using it as a computer, travel, all purpose bag. Its large enough that it fits my gaming system with room for controllers, plugs, etc. Great bag to have.

Really & truly *excellent*
Honestly, this backpack is so completely deserving of 5 stars that it makes me question other 5-star ratings I've given in the past -- I guess you could say the bar has been raised! And I say that even as there's one smallish detail that I personally don't love (but you might), which I'll come back to... but still, even more than I thought possible, I absolutely love this backpack! To get at least a general idea of why, browse to the Austere Grey 15.6" and check out the 7th image, actually a video. To that, I would just add...- There are perfect-sized mesh drink-holder type pockets on *both* sides (because why do some manufacturers skimp even on that?!)- The ring he hooks keys to has a quick-release button built in, as well! which also snaps really nicely back into place... It really is the little things!- And just to highlight, for the external USB port, there's a built-in cable on the inside you can plug your USB charger into, which connects to the external port you can leave your phone / whatever connected to without having to open any pockets (and here again the mesh pockets on both sides comes in handy). And of and when you don't want to use that, there's no real downside: the built-in cable is completely out of the way, and you won't likely even notice the external port, which BTW doesn't appear to negate the overall "seal" of the thing either, except *maybe* if you were to hold the entire thing underwater. :)The one smallish detail I would change, though, is that external port: it just happens to be USB-A while I'd prefer USB-C, for quicker charging... obviously not the hugest issue, and some might even prefer it that way. Personally, I'm seriously considering a bit of after-market "surgery" to "fix" this, which likely translates to having a pro unstitch and remove the port & internal cable, then stitch a (possibly 3D-printed?) replacement port into place. I wouldn't normally even consider that sort of "headache," but when the backpack overall is easily nicer than anything else I've found, even for 2x or 3x the price, it's suddenly really easy to make an exception. What else...- Something like 15 pockets? Which almost sounds overboard, but it's really not. Many are "optional" & otherwise out of the way, anyway -- just really well-distributed storage goodness! Oh, and the pen holders actually (easily) fit my completely normal-sized pens, unlike the new LL Bean bag I so promptly returned after getting this one. And the "security pocket" on the bottom, the side facing you as your wear it? Absolutely genius!- The zippers having been what finally gave out on the 20+ year old LL Bean bag I replaced, I'm a bit more conscious now of "initial zipper quality," and these seem just as solid as they come: totally sturdy, while also zipping surprisingly nicely & smoothly :) But perhaps that's a moot point anyway, considering the...- LIFETIME GUARANTEE! I hadn't realized this until mine arrived, but there's a card inside that says you can replace for any defect, for life!- The sizes refer to the size of laptop that would easily fit inside. That said, even a 17" laptop might still fit inside my 15.6" bag, just pretty snugly, but I wouldn't chance it.- if you do a lot of traveling, you might also want to consider the max size of a "personal item" on your favorite airline(s)...- The 14" is 16 x 12 x 7.5 inches- The 15.6" is 18 x 12 x 7.8 inches- The 17" is 19 x 13.75 x 7.8 inches- The 18" is... not sure! (but apparently those can actually fit up to an 18.4" laptop, which is huge!)For reference, a free "personal item" on JetBlue is up to 17 x 13 x 8 inches, making even the 15.6" technically the tiniest bit too large, but that said I'd be absolutely shocked if even the 17" got so much as a second glance on 1/100 flights (maybe a little more likely if you're flying on Spirit or Frontier, in which case WTH were you thinking, anyway?). In any case, the 17" would almost certainly fit under any seat, even on the most budget of "budget" airlines.TL;DR: I very rarely review anything, and I'm also not one to own multiple backpacks, especially not "just 'cause," but these are so perfect, not to mention affordable, that I've found myself happily doing both!

Dude. Genuinely Perfect for school.
Super awesome backpack that i got for college, i haven't started yet but just from testing i can already tell the quality of the bag is superb. Its got alot of pockets inside, but not too many where they don't serve a purpose, like each pocket seems very intentional. The whole bag is super sturdy, the straps are thick and comfy, and the bag doesn't feel like it'll snap or bend, even under a full heavy load. The bag is also water resistant, making it great for the rain. Plus, it's design is minimal enough to not look like an idiot while walking around, but still fully functional making it extremely versatile. Overall, a super stable backpack that satisfies everything you could ever need. Plus, the built in usb is cool if you wanna aura farm with ur phone plugged in from ur bag. I highly recommend

Excellent, durable backpack with great capacity
I've been using this backpack for over three years now, and it's held up fantastically. The capacity is excellent – I can easily fit a full shop inside, and it's been my go-to for weekend trips across Europe, including Norway, Sweden, and other countries. The material is durable and still shows no signs of wear or damage after years of use. I really like the color, and the multiple pockets (including pockets with internal compartments) are perfect for organizing accessories. The laptop compartment easily fits a 16-inch thick gaming laptop, which is a huge plus. There are a few minor drawbacks: the back can get quite hot since the backpack isn’t very breathable, so during summer I often end up with a sweaty back. The side pockets are convenient but not very deep; occasionally the bottom water bottle can fall out, though most of the time they hold items securely. I don’t use the USB charging accessory, but I imagine it would be very handy. Comfort is average – not amazing, but sufficient for most uses.Overall, this backpack is highly practical, durable, and well-designed for both everyday use and travel.

Tan buena que he repetido compra
