Starter Coir Pellets - Take cuttings of tender perennials such as fuchsias, geraniums, verbena etc. (many of the plants used in baskets and tubs through the summer will provide cuttings). Push the cuttings into the coir pellets and place in a propagator or simply cover with a plastic bag and keep on a warm windowsill. They should root in 2-3 weeks. Good starters
Used for the first time this season, quite impressed had good results, especially with the smaller seed,s,but you must keep them wet as they can dry out very quickly especially in the green house I found it best to stand them in a tray with a little water topped up in the tray at all times, definitely order again.

Perfect for tomatoes
I have used these coir pellets for tomatoes - I used a Jiffy windowsill propagator but you can use any transparent plastic box eg a food box or similar. Rehydrate the pellets - takes 30 minutes or so - and put one tomato seed in the central hole. Place on the windowsill and wait a few days.I also used them for courgette seeds with equal success.

Wicked, makes sowing easy. Can't understand why you have to soak overnight though.

A bit expensive
Good product but look around at your garden centres and you can find similar pellets for much less price. I bought some from Homebase for less that £3.00
